Anyone else think that EVERY treasure chest has a trap in it? >_>
It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't nearly impossible to pick them >_<;;

In The Dark Spire, you mean? If so, then yeah. I could probably count the number of times I've encountered a treasure chest without a trap on one hand, and the numerous trapped chests I've encountered are almost always difficult to pick

?? Umm... it's called a theif and then you give him the lock pick skill. Even if it says "difficult" I can count on one hand how many times one has failed on me. :\

I just started playing, so I've been dumping my EP into levels instead of skills. Bad idea?

EDIT: Anyway, whenever I have my thief pick a lock, he gets poisoned. So now when I get a message saying that it's going to be difficult to pick a lock, I just skip it.

I only picked up a few skills at the beginning that sounded like they actually HELP (such as the thievery or healthy living). But, yeah, mostly at the beginning, you just wanna spam the first floor and get yourself up to at least level 3 or so.

Yeah, that use to happen to me until I got the skill. Now the few times that I do trip a trap, it's just a magic bullet, but it's pretty rare.

Make sure it's playing the mp3s and not the midi files if you want to hear good quality music.
