...well you'll be waiting for awhile then.
To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the design. I hope it has something else hidden up it's sleeve (notably, touch screen would be nice for the A/V since with the screen out it is rather awkward looking to hold to watch stuff).
And to be frank, I'm more interesting in getting it hacked and getting older (SNES) titles on there probably. PSX too since they refuse to bring over the ones I give a damn about.
May need to look for a -2000 model (have -3000 been broken yet I forget) for myself. Or just [s]steal[/s] acquire the one my roomate has.
I also foresee the PSP Go being ridiculously expensive (okay, not ridiculous but probably at the $200 range) if only for there to be some incentive for retailers to carry it. There's no market for the games via stores (i.e., like Gamestop) if it's all download. Then again, I think Patapon 2 had "retail tickets" for download use in stores but, again, this does hinder used sales ... oh well, we'll see.
...oh and 16 GB of Flash memory probably isn't that cheap (assuming SSD). That and bluetooth.

So even Square is joining the "fuck E3 here's an announcement" train:

Developed by Cavia, the team responsible for Bullet Witch and Drakengard 2 (just 2 I believe). Looks to be Square's "answer" to Bayonetta (which is in turn Platinum's answer to Devil May Cry).
I think it's the wrong answer as Bayonetta looks so much better than this but hey, who knows. Not much to say on Bullet Witch and Drakengard 2 though but I do know that Drakengard was pretty good mindless fun, though they toned the game down a bit.
Yeah spoilers but if you haven't played Drakengard by now you probably won't ever.
Taking out the pedophile, baby cannibal (sort of), and incest made the game make infinitely less sense. Okay, just the incest part.
Especially one of the endings where they just REMOVED LINES so there's a DRAMATIC MUSIC AND OH GOD DRAMATIC CLOSE-UP and then nothing is said. Guess they didn't want to include the bits of suicide due to unrequited incestual love.
...though they kept the story summary after it (and the one detailing what the chapter was about) that mentioned it revolved around an unrequited immoral love. ...so yeah.
As for controllers, I like the PS3 (sans triggers) and 360 controllers a lot. Gamecube is still fine for some games but it's still a weird shaped controller. I'm actually a fan of the depth of the triggers since it allows for full, half, and partial presses for games, though not many use them.

It's tiny. 3.8" screen (PSP-1000/2000/3000 is 4.2" to compare) which makes the total width of the PSP Go at under 5". Pretty much think of it as the size and weight of an iPhone.
The issue still remains on how the lack of a UMD drive will work for it. If I can still hack it to play PS1 games that they haven't released then I'll buy a PSP Go isntead of a -2000.
Otherwise, I'll stick to the PSP-1000 my roomate has and just forget about buying my own PSP.
Well, also depends on how the PSP Go feels in my hands. The controls being at the bottom throws the balance of it off from appearance (and logic) sake. There's no way, barring weights in the bottom, for the system to be bottom heavy I'd think. Then again, it is only 110g to begin with so the screen may be lighter than I estimate.
Edit: Oh yeah, finally some Nintendo news broke. WiiFit+ this Fall (though that's known) and new Mario game "this year." That's rather vague so no idea what the hell that even means (i.e., Galaxy 2, NSMB 2, Mario Party 9, Mario Tennis/Strikers/SPORTSHERE+, etc.).
