Well, anyway, No More Heroes is pretty awesome and, as per usual, quirky Suda51 gameplay and meaning. The open-world aspects between misisons is easily the worst part of the game. And by easily I mean "oh god fuck why." Some of the jobs themselves aren't bad but the cash grinding for the next mission is /wrists. The gameplay is pretty repetitive, however, so if the ultra violence and combat isn't your thing ... *shrugs*
As for meaning (no spoilers somehow)
That is, Travis is a loser. I mean, he lives alone (well, with his cat), sleeps with a blow-up doll, rents pornos what appears to be daily, and is a severe stereotypical loser otaku. He's stuck in that hellhole of a town, stuck doing dead-end jobs to escape into his fantasy of anime/games (and, eventually violence). The hum-drum boring normality between missions is both a "change of pace" and a reminder that Travis is after all a regular person and needs to "do the day job" still to support his escapism.
*shrugs* This is Suda51. If he wanted, the between mission nonesense could've been some surreal mini-games. No. They're boring routine day jobs (okay, mine sweeper probably isn't but whatever). No matter how much he makes from his assassination missions or any of the other action-y chores, he MUST still go to work. It's pretty clear the job choices are intentional. The EXECUTION of it is rather terrible but the message/reasoning behind it is there.
It's quite the parody of gamers/gaming subculture and a tad bit of social commentary included. Or you can just treat it as atypical shounen ALL FIGHTS OVER THE TOP OH JESUS cat OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK cat I suppose. Cat.
It's one of the reasons I look forward to Suda51 games of all kinds. Contact (DS) is cute and worth a look into and, if you can find it, Killer 7 is an insane trip.
Personally, I'm not a fan of setting up Hail via an attack and would rather use Snow Warning instead. But, since the only Snow Warning Pokemon I can think of is Abomasnow (Grass / Ice) that may be a moot point.
...anyway, Hail + Blizzard + Ice Beam + Shadow Ball probably. If you use Abomasnow, I'd sub Hail out for Thunderbolt.
So:
Hail
Blizzard
Ice Beam
Shadow Ball
OR
Thunderbolt
Blizzard
Ice Beam
Shadow Ball
I'd prefer the second set with MAYBE Hidden Power: Ground (but that requires lots of breeding shenanigans) or Thunderwave. Paralysis + Snow Cloak + Brightpower is a ~54% chance to be hit. Quite ridiculous. I'm not a fan of Abomasnow (I mean, he's not terrible but 4x Fire Weakness is ow) however and that would be the only way to get Snow Cloak. On the bright side, Abomasnow Hail is permanent and not 5 turns like the move Hail.
In the event of adding Abomasnow, I'd do something like Ice Shard + Seed Bomb + Earthquake + Swords Dance/Substitute/Protect/Focus Punch.
Froslass is interesting in a Hail team since she nulls their big weakness, Fighting types. That said, she's USUALLY a Spikes set-up since she has low SpA. Not that she can't attack she's just a great Spikes support.
I.... I think I followed that.
It needs to be a build that I can implement immediately, no breeding or anything. So, Froslass is okay? I'd only whip out Hail for battles in which I really want Blizzard -- otherwise Shadow Ball and Ice Shard.... I don't see how I'm going to get Ice Beam since she doesn't learn it and neither does Snorunt in Platinum.
Ice Shard is only 40 strength, but it has 30 PP so it's a good "Default" attack for random encounters and low-level trainers. I'd only whip out Hail+Blizzard to target specific weakness (like, say, Dragons!)
Abomasnow... yeah, Ice/Grass not a fine. I'd rather go with Froslass since her big weaknesses are in types that I already have a different team member to counter.
Oh, and on the subject of HM ranting, I added a Pelipper to my team that knows both Surf and Fly. There! Problem fucking solved. I have a HM-slave Budoof/whatever-it-evolves-into to get through Spear Pillar and then good fucking riddance to the damn thing.
I still think HMs are totally fucking cheap.

I suppose Ice Shard is ... okay. Her Attack and SpA are the same after all. 10,000 Tokens for an Ice Beam TM if I recall.
Edit: The main "problem" with Ice Shard is it is a Priority move. That is, using it means you go first. Froslass is already ridiculously fast so it's pretty much wasted. That said, Ice Beam is only 16 PP after 3 PP Up so ... >>

No, good point. I'll get Ice Beam from the game exchange in that case. I'm bad about just relying on what they learn rather than dicking around with TMs and move tutors and, worst of all, breeding. That's what happens you skip straight from Red to D/P/P generation I suppose.
I'm playing this:
http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/European_Geography.htm
Currently on Countries. I've mastered Level 1 (consistent 100% accuracy with a time of 90-120 seconds) and I'm working on the other levels.
Yes.
This is what I do for fun.
