Ugh, Scy that sucks!
I remember when I came home from school and found a note from FedEx saying that they'd tried to deliver my copy of Wind Waker, and had left it with "Joanna Acres"
What. The. Hell. I didn't know any Joanna Acres! Furious, I called them and demanded to know where my package was and why it had been given to an apparent stranger. Turns out that was the name of my "neighbor" ... My parents live in the boonies, after all. @__@ I was still angry about it. What if they'd kept the delicious Zelda for themselves?!
Hope you recover your stuff, Scy.

Well, it JUST shipped so I'm seeing if I can get them to re-route it. Kind of annoyed that it seems like I'll have to pay double shipping for it when it's a SHORTER DISTANCE to ship it to my home than the current address. Especially if I get it rerouted before it leaves the next stop (probably somewhere IN TEXAS ANYWAY).
Ugh, so dumb. I have my default shipping set to my University and I did like 4 orders back-to-back and forgot to switch it on the last one. So stupid. Didn't expect it to ship the next day either. Pretty much was order -> sleep -> oh shit sent out already?

THATS WHAT YOU GET

I hardly ever order anything from the internet. I just prefer paying cash and walking out with it.. instant gratification is awesome!
And totally off-topic but it boggles my mind that anyone could ever buy shoes over the internet. For me, buying shoes is a process of look at shoe --> put shoe on one foot. Examine. --> Put shoe on other foot. Pause. Examine. --> walk a little, shift weight around, march to one end of the aisle, turn, march back. --> take shoes off. Think about it. Look at other shoes. --> Try same shoes back on. Make a lap of the store. Take them off. Put them on. Try to ask fiance's opinion. Fiance asks yet again if he should walk to GameStop or wait. Insist that you'll be done shortly. --> Make decisions.

I do almost all my purchases online, if only for the fact it's usually cheaper thanks to Free Shipping + No Tax. Also, there's no way in hell of getting that FightStick in store T.T.
The weird thing is, I have a Best Buy and Gamestop within a mile of the house (well under half a mile actually) but I just prefer to do my shopping online for things. Saving $10 per (new) game adds up over time with how much stuff I buy
Was really tempted to pre-order BlazBlue via Gamestop and do in-store pick-up to get the Artbook but not an option apparently. Dumb. Artbook isn't going to be worth tax + shipping + higher base cost.
Started playing Kirby Superstar Ultra for the DS today.
...
77% complete already...short game is short. But its fun so I'll forgive it. But my thumb hurts so I'm done for now.

AFTER A LONG SAGA OF EMAILING ELECTRONIC ARTS BACK AND FORTH (they were actually quite helpful) I FINALLY GOT MY EA DOWNLOAD MANAGER TO DISPLAY SPORE. UPON DOWNLOADING IT, IT SAID THERE WAS AN ERROR IN THE EXTRACTION, BUT RATHER THAN RESTARTING AS IT HAD SUGGESTED, I EXTRACTED AGAIN HAPHAZARDLY.
somehow...
all the documentation was in chinese...
and none of the in-game text worked. It was all "***". And none of the text boxes worked, they just said "BAD_DATA"
Here is the thing. Before I downloaded it, the name "SPORE" in the display manager was accompanied by chinese (thought it was japanese at first) characters in parentheses. I might have to not only reinstall it, but re-download a different version of it.
