My friend has my DSi and most of my games. Didn't want to give her My World, My Way so that she has only great experiences playing the system. :P She's really enjoying stuff right now. When she messages me for advice on how to beat a boss, find something or complete a quest... it brings back memories of being in school. I would always have to beat Nightmare for people on Metroid Fusion!

Too bad I suck pretty badly at games. XD I'm good at picking up patterns, though!

Picking up patterns is like 80% of non-RPG "bosses."
And a lot of RPG bosses too...
My mindscape is also very wide, so I pick up on how to use something to its fullest very quickly... part of why I can dominate in duels on Ragnarok Online. My downfall is while my reflexes in real life aren't bad, that does not translate well in video games at all. :[

I have to thank years (okay, like two) of hardcore FPS playing and all my microing in WC3 for getting my twitch reflexes to godlike proportions~
Mostly cocaine though.
Haha. Probably did a better job than my brother! I'd backseat WC3 a lot.
"Don't just let your Crypt Fiends die! Move them!"
"He's almost dead! Surround with your Grunts!"
"They're going for an expansion. Send some wolves to scout."
It's probably no secret that I'd also coordinate guilds on Ragnarok Online WoE. ^-^;

Heh, WC3 I took seriously, much to the annoyance of all my friends who liked spending all their time with "LOOK TOWER DEFENSE" or other stupid games. At least they liked DotA or else I'd have probably killed them or something. They could never wrap their heads around the idea of me doing things like microing individual Ghouls.
Or fun stuff like me beating them 3v1 once. Haha. Though one of my friends was a damn good NE that could actually beat me (Undead or Random) 50% of the time.
T.T I miss those days, kind of. Playing ranked matches and being all serious about that shit. I think part of that competitive spark is why I'm picking up BlazBlue and trying to take it seriously.
My math number crunching for games probably stems from years of doing it "seriously" in MMOs. I did the number crunching for bosses to figure out the DPS we needed, what to improve to get that DPS, what kind of damage incoming (and thus timing on CH rotations), etc. for Everquest.
...
I'm a sad, sad person.

Nah. You have talent and a good mindset. It can be a very useful thing in this world.

Hah, just more of a "Man, I really spent that many years number crunching a game."
And now, we have mods to all that work for you!
...
I sound bitter.
In the spirit of the topic, Xenogears (still). Waiting for the friend I'm playing through this with (well, "with" yet separately) to put more time into it so I can progress~

Maybe Koreans were put on this earth to unite the people after civilization is destroyed to lead us into rebuilding a better world!.. then again I don't know if I want a world built by Koreans. D:
Still playing a bard on RO and having the funnest time I've had on this game in ages.

If Koreans end up in charge of rebuilding the world, we'll need to construct additional pylons :<

korean and vietnamese districts around here have the best architecture and infrastructure, and there are awesome strip malls.
...Mexican districts look like someone is trying to nail a bunch of rotten planks together into a square house while standing in puke
seriously, vietnamese and mexicans both come here with nothing, but
why is it that the vietnamese created orderly, successful communities and ended up owning large businesses and stuff
while the mexicans still roll around in self-segregation, creating nothing but miniature copies of the horrible corrupted nation they were trying to escape from

Funny fact: You never build a single Pylon in Starcraft. They are all pre-built and you merely warp them in.
Who knows. I blame zerglings.

YOU CONSTRUCT THE PYLONS BECAUSE WHEN YOU WARP IT, YOU CONSTRUCT THE MOLECULES
