Finished the game. Did cry. Beautiful! <3
And, yes, everyone should run out and buy it. Only $15 new! At least, where I bought it. (Actually from work, so it was only $11 for me. Yay employee discount)
Started playing Pikmin 2, and then my fiance was like "This is boring, play something else" so I started Twilight Princess. Then had to restart to change Link's name to Fiance's name... and at his insistence named the horse after me ;___; Makes for some really giggly moment, though!
Not very far, actually, since I only played for like 2 hours. Absolutely hate having to swing the stupid wiimote and would much rather just press "A" but whatever. Have a feeling I'll be doing a lot of jump attacks from sheer laziness. ...
Also started re-playing Magical Starsign with Dark magic. Lots of fun; absolutely love this game. Colorful, cute writing, good story and all that. Fun times.

It's ... ... ... meh. Story is nothing special, barring the whole "shoe is on the other foot!" deal and the gameplay is a snorefest. It has some charm to it but not much beyond that, to be honest. Also, ridiculously short for an RPG.
[spoiler]But it has shallow appeal for the whole "OH LOOK FEMALE PROTAGONIST" thing, for what little that means.[/spoiler]
And I say this as someone who enjoyed playing through it, even back on the fucking PS1 (oh yeah, that clunker of a localization).

It makes more sense if you've played BlazBlue. BOOBIE LADY.
And Suikoden is a poor example, as big of a fan of the series as I am (hell, I'm getting myself a Soul Eater tattoo). A lot of the characters are bland with very little besides Investigation backstory, especially if they're not plot relevant. Hell, even some of the Plot Relevant ones are droll after they're done in the plot.
Luca Blight is awesome.
[spoiler]Though Jin (BlazBlue) gives him a run for his money on insane, though I haven't finished his story mode (or even Ragna's). All I do know is he killed his brother and possibly sister, set fire (?) to the church that raised him, and became a member of the ... Library? Whatever the fuck that is.
...and then, upon seeing his brother alive again, his only thought is how good it is to KILL HIM AGAIN.
I really need to finish some story modes T.T I've done Rachel's which was rather Higurashi-ish with the whole "well, this world is a loss" plotline and her little moment with Ragna (THAT ENDED UP NOT BEING THE RIGHT ENDING FUCK YOU WHY IS TAGER HER BOSS FIGHT?!).[/spoiler]
