He's immortal, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't care about a lasting relationship since she'd just die before him. That's what I figure at least.

Then again, the whole "immortal can't be with a mortal1!1!!!" thing is so overplayed.

[spoiler]Truthfully, I figure they'd have little to discuss, though if he cared for proper hiding, he'd at least learn things about the culture and stuff but ... who knows.

I'm pretty sure he'd only be interested in fucking, at least until he hated life so much that he wished he could die.

But he can't.

A large part of the plot is Bella's desire to become a vampire to share immortality with him, whereas Edward doesn't want to corrupt her human innocence or some bullshit. The whole like "NO IM ALL TORTURED AND ANGSTY BEING A VAMPIRE SUCKS" even though there are no downsides to it at all in the books. Oh, and he believes that she'll lose her soul.

Haven't played the original Rune Factory, I basically went straight to Rune Factory 2 since it was out by the time I decided to give the series a try. I might go back and pick that one up actually, could probably find it fairly cheap anyway at this point. It'd be interesting to see what's different between the two at any rate, aside from the characters.
