Prairie sprite? Where do you find those I wonder. Not that I've done much exploring, though. I've only been to Inachis and Aleas and the only dungeons I've done are the sewer rat and HolyGrass Square. I tried to do the Bunny one but I got wiped out by a Yeti. I think I'll go to Eversweep next.

Edit: :3 I'm really happy, too, btw. I FINALLY found a red-headed girl that could look like Morren. I couldn't find one appropriate for her. Most MMO games that I've played with her, she's a red-headed silent serious character. >_> You wanna know how many pics of that exist?! >_< BAH!!

I was almost tempted to take a snapshot of her Cabal form.

I moved the old image to Arisa. Made the character on a whim but I'm thinking of creating a more definite personality for her, especially now that she has this white hair form. It fits her - especially for a magician.

Semi-related to the MMO talk...I'm really looking forward to the Star Wars MMO that Bioware is making. Largely because I want to make smuggler and bounty hunter characters for the express purpose of killing as many force users in PVP as possible thus taking out my frustrations with EU force users in the Star Wars canon. How has something that had relatively minor focus/importance in the Original Trilogy become practically all Star Wars is know for/all thats really written for it? Yeesh...

I'm not too into MMO's, though, personally. Largely because they're such a time sink. Lately I find myself wanting to breeze through a game just to make my way through my backlog. I'm down to 6 DS games finally after beating Rune Factory 2 and Elite Beat Agents. Should be able to finish Etrian Odyssey 2 tomorrow, then its on to Disgaea DS. After that, I have 15 PS2 games and 7 PSP games. There's some PC games too (12, possibly more) but first I'll need a gaming-quality PC.

In other news, Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver will be making a spring 2010 release in North America and apparently Phoenix Wright was planned to be in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom but the English version of his OBJECTION! would have become overpowered. I kid you not. 4 Japanese characters vs 9 English characters basically. Franziska was considered as well.

The only MMO I play is Legend of the Green Dragon, a game that I'm sure nobody here has heard of. I took a look at Estiah, and while there are a lot of good concepts implemented, I don't think I get into another browser game.

The Pokemon remakes seem interesting, and I'm intrigued as to what new content there will be. I always liked the second generation.

And on a side note, Knights in the Nightmare is proving to be fun. I obliterated the scene 20 boss in three turns, thanks to Maria (I'm playing on normal, in case you wanted to know). Speaking of which, I'm going to go and play it now.

I finally reached a decent spot for grindgrindgrind in The Dark Spire (B1 - East) but I'm not really seeing the point in doing so. The game is pretty much easymode so far (start of 4F pretty much).

Warrior / Mage + Priest + Thief (all L8 upon arriving at 4F, though now 10 and storing EP/raising VIT) going for either Samurai + Samurai / Druid + Wizard or Samurai / Druid + Druid + Wizard. Not seeing a huge need for Physical attacks compared to 36 every tier of Arcane magic for All-targets.

Yeah, the game is rather broken in that regard.

I remember turning my thief (who was a halfling) into a wizard. Ugh...so much grinding for intelligence...thankfully, pairing him with my druid and using the level 8 and below kill spell proved to be effective.

I figured from the get-go that Magic was probably the way to go and didn't accept a single character with sub-13 INT (16 on my Elf Mage). If I knew what I did now, I'd probably have made a ton of characters and make them go Chaos to unlock Dark Elves and make a full team of Dark Elves with high INT/VIT. Oh well, 3x Human 1x Elf is fine by me.

T-T Why does Scy NEVER seem to have as many problems with games as I do. >_> Get so annoying hearing you talk about a game as being easy that I'm finding ridiculously annoying. Not that I'm blaming you or anything. I just wish I could excel at something as well.

My first foray into 4F (after trying to do all of 3F in pretty much one run >>) was pretty terrible. Was a lot of save/load since I couldn't figure out the stupid rat thing for awhile and had no healing or group-targets (not even sleep T.T) left. Was a mad dash to the teleport out after getting that Elevator piece. I haven't been back in awhile but I think B1 - East is harder than 4F. Maybe, who knows. I do know 4F has a lot of all-target/breath attacks though which is annoying (only one encounter really has them on B1 - East and that's the Spirits and Death Envoy).

As mentioned, I run a Warrior / Mage + Priest + Thief group with the Warrior pimping a Rapier and Metal Shield combo and the best AC equipment I can get (Bikini Armor and Codpiece, I want to say? Yeah I said fuck RP at the high AC prospects here). Combined with Priest's Holy Guardian (perma +3 AC), puts me at -10 AC at all times which makes for pretty easy tanking for the most part. Most fights are just AAAAAAAAAAAA mashing and I have a ton of Gold so I keep a lot of Potions on hand now.

Edit: Just to add, Rapier + Metal Shield is probably the best offense/defense combination you can do at this point. +4 AC total and the Rapier grants extra attacks (+3 Hits). Nothing really beats it at this point imo.

At Level 10, sitting at 78 HP due to re-rolling the early levels for HP though I didn't care once I reached level 5-ish and just took what I got (did 9 and 10 back-to-back and got a big HP boost at 10 that took me from 63 to 78). Rest of the group is pretty much "meh whatever!" HP at 42, 55, 55 for Mage, Priest, and Thief. B1 - East got me a nice bow for the Thief (Lightning Bow) that made her now suck far less than before.

Edit: If I recall, Level ~5 when I finished the 1F-2F backtrack run around and 8 by the time I finished all of 3F, with a short stop on B1 - West for a bit (pretty much nothing there though). Did 9 and 10 (+~60k EP) on B1 - East so far.

Well, I found the quick-warp back down AND some sort of side-show, but haven't delved that far into those areas. So your comments are pretty satisfying then. If it wasn't for the all-target attacks I wouldn't do so horribly. Really, getting up to 4F has become a breeze really. My guys are like ~8-9 with some like my thief having one or two levels in other areas (me being stupid early game).

Rapier is best? I can't remember what I have equipped to my warrior... :\ I'll check. Thanks for the advice. My warrior though is a TANK. -8AC :3 (that's with that defend thing spell)

Really, it's my Priest that is lacking. I'm thinking of doing a heroic formation since he's getting fucking annoying to have in the front. My thief has a bow and I can't remember why i wanted to keep my Mage in the back? :\ Maybe it was her weapon or something, but at this point even if my priest has a weapon he sucks so much and I keep wasting health points that whatever weapon benefits I'm getting aren't balancing out.

The store's mostly used for storage after the 4th floor. The only other use for gold I can think of is the secret floor.

When I played through the game, fights were easy as long as I could spam Extincto before they could deal any significant damage (my party was Paladin Samurai / Wizard Druid). Of course, if a group of dragons ambushed me and used their breath attack, I was pretty much screwed. I made it through the entire game (mostly, I still haven't finished all of the quests) with sub-par equipment.

The save feature decreases the difficulty quite a bit, though. (Edit: in other words, I used it repeatedly to my advantage, especially with the door fights...cheap, but effective. But mostly cheap.)

Anyway, I'd like to hear your theories on the endings (first and second) once you reach them. I have one, and it's interesting (i.e., perverted), but it makes sense, as far as I'm concerned.
