I don't know like twice a year since childhood
but I've never gotten that stupid bat! I WAS TOTALLY GOING TO DO IT THIS TIME.
Also this is for Maxine:
I'm going to end all my posts tonight with KH images despite them being unrelated to the topic, because Maxine is awesome.

Maxine - Ranting, me? I don't think I ranted. But yes, I liked Puzzle Quest a lot. Galactrix isn't as good, but has more strategy in-game. Anyway, don't mind me. I'm kinda addicted to any kind of Bejeweled game. Zookeeper, Gweled, Puzzle League, Sutek's Tomb, Meteos, etc.
Scy & Trance - Thanks for the definitions, but to me this metroidvania stuff is still part of the larger category of platform games. Which I would be totally fine with if the platforms weren't so darn small and the jumping didn't have to be at the exact right instant/pixel and all while being attacked too. *grumble*pout*
Noodles - An odd choice? Female protagonist, 'nough said.
Kino - Aww, and you were so close..

So, on we move, from Castlevania: Order Of Ecclesia to Valkyrie Profile: Covenant Of The Plume.
Uh, why am I playing some random everydude instead of a kickass valkyrie? And this looks suspiciously like a strategy game. I don't like strategy games. I want an RPG, dangit. And then the random everydude, who had already lost his dad and his sister and forgotten about his poor mom, also lost his best friend (the other random dudes who were there for the introduction somehow disappeared). Way to start the game with a complete nobody there. Meh, is this game going to be another mistake?

I'd like to take the time to say that VP:CotP was actually pretty decent, albeit a bit simple.
Not a VP/VP2 though

Come on, PS3 VP: Hrist lets go~~
