Professor Layton 2 has a new feature where you can call up "Memo" and draw all over the screen. Very useful! It's a semi-transparent overlay, so you can still see the puzzle material beneath.

It must be a sign of the Apocalypse, Zeta actually finished a Visual Novel! XD
Yeah, I actually stuck with Tsukihime and finished this VN I started so long ago, achieving every ending, and went through "Eclipse".
Hm.... for my next VN read-a-thon, maybe I should finish EVER17..... before I suffer some kind or horrific fate wrought by Maxine XD

Thanks for the strategy, Trance
... but I already beat him. My method was pretty much the same as the one you mentioned, though, except that I used my matsutakemodoki's death powder attack (instead of dimension) to deal with the two yatagarasu.
Also I went to the final dungeon so that I could recruit the goddess. She helped out a lot. I probably should have thought to do that in the first place, but I never considered it...
EDIT: Also my esper learned O subete, which is awesome.

I'm playing Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey now, and if it stays as good as it has so far, this is basically GOTY for me. It is seriously amazing, and may well be one of the best MegaTen games ever made. Highly, highly recommended (assuming it gets localized, which I think is a safe bet.)
EDIT: Incidentally, I picked it up yesterday evening and wound up playing it throughout most of the night, hah.

What makes it so awesome? I mean, it uses the EO engine so it gets some awesomeness from there of course, but the screenshots/trailers I saw reminded me a little of early 90s 3D; that is, the textures clashed a bit with the map consisting of square tiles. I'm not (yet) familiar with the MegaTen franchise though. Is the story good? What about freedom to create your own characters? That's one of the things that made EO and CoH so good.

The fact some people weren't interested makes me wish death upon them.
Or at least a feeling of sadness, peril, and self-loathing.
As an aside, did they keep parts of the Raidou 2 and Devil Summoner Fusion system? Or is it back to square 1 selectundoselectundeoselectundo forever?

Skills can carry over to new demons, but it seems like you have no control over which skill(s) the new demon inherits. If dia is the skill that carries over, for example, no amount of selectundoselect is going to change it. Not entirely sure why that is, but that is how it works. However, demons also give you items called sources when they level up. You can use those during a fusion to give your demon new skills. So using a pixie source will give your new demon agi, and so forth.
You can buy demons once you've recruited them, ala Nocturne, which is convenient. Also, each demon has a password which you can use to trade, etc. Supposedly there are going to be password-only demons that Atlus is giving out.

I wanna play!! I WANNA I WANNA I WANNA!!
Back on topic: still heavily addicted to KH258/2!!
Up to Day 176.
Speculation about Xion (minor spoilers up to where I am):
I found it very curious during the first few scenes with the three of them, whenever the point of view switched to Axel, Xion had her hood up. There's been a few other scenes where she suddenly had her hood up out of nowhere. It's very weird. It's like only those that have attempted to open their heart up to her can see her face.
I ALMOST wanna lean towards that she's some sort of creation much like Riku-clone was in KH: CoM.
I think whatever happens, she is doomed to die or something and this is how Roxas gets his second keyblade. Except :\ Riku called it a sham during that one scene.
XD Funny part: I didn't realize how much I LONGED to see Riku until he appeared on the screen. I just about died. I was like "OMG IT'S RIKU!! RIKU RIKU!!" T-T I almost wanted to cry, though, when I realized "oh, this is pre-KH2 ending". Hearing him calling himself a "the biggest nobody of them all" was so hard. <_< But, it makes me feel a little better when I think of his future - him sitting back on that Paopu fruit tree back on Destiny Islands with Sora beside him.
Fuck, -_-; I'm such a damn fan girl.
Oh, and can I make it no more obvious: PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL THIS GAME FOR ME!! Please CHECK before you go spouting things. If it's past day 176 I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT!!
