You can make your point on disagreement without resorting to hyperbolic rudeness.

It isn't "taking offense" it is ensuring that the forum dialogue flows smoothly, which is my job as a Moderator. I'm sorry for editing your post in a way that you disagreed with; I was trying to interject some humor into the situation and diffuse possible flare-ups, which I see failed miserably. Although profanity is certainly tolerated there is a level of decency to which we all need to adhere, and the first rule of the forum is that "Swearing is permitted, but not in excess" followed promptly by "frequent insulting" and I felt that your statements bordered on violating both these rules. If you meant your words in convey a different meaning that is fine, but to the casual observer they could be taken incorrectly and, thus, I stepped in to moderate... which, again, is my job.

I apologize if you feel I overstepped any boundaries, but I stand firm by my decision. I invite you to appeal to Maxine, the Administrator, if you feel my judgment has been in error. I'd like the matter to be dropped from this thread at this point.
