Phantom Hourglass was easy.
With that out of the way, I don't care if a game is easy. What I care about is if I'm having fun with it and if I'm getting lost in its world. PH did that for me. I still don't think it's as good as The Minish Cap, which may be my favorite 2D Zelda after Link's Awakening, but it was damn good.
If Spirit Tracks is more of the same, I couldn't be happier about it. I love the carefree spirit of the cel-shaded Zelda games--seems to cut right to the heart of what made me like Zelda in the first place.
I'm playing the original Golden Sun. I want to finish it and the second one before the third one comes out. I actually started it last year, but when I heard they were making a third one, I started rushing to finish it.
I love the combat, graphics, and music. Beautiful. The story is odd, the dialog is often redundant and poorly written (it's taken me twenty minutes to get through one cut-scene before) and the characters have no personality, but hey, it's a good game nonetheless.
I do find it hilarious that in a game with enough text to fill a volume of War and Peace, I can't tell any of the characters apart.
