also, a pen-and-paper RPG is not complete until you give the planet an armor stat, should you need to blow it up

Yeah, that image pretty much hit the nail on the head.

- Huh. I had no idea Satoshi Hino was in this.
- Sting made it, so it must be decent, at the very least.
- Everyone looks like they jumped out of a Summon Night game XD

Playing Majesty and Majesty Expansion...

*drools* I remember this all so well.... o_O; Fuck, all I've gotten around to doing is just playing Freestyle (Beginner) on both. >_>;; I should do the quests... eventually.... or at least take the notch up to Intermediate.... but :3 I just love building the kingdoms.

AWWW, LEAVE ME ALONE!! A part of me inside is still that same little teen who felt that Chrono Trigger and A Link to the Past were the hardest games she's ever played.

Starfe: I can't comment on WRPG's, since Etrian Odyssey is the closest thing to a WRPG I can get close to (I've tried Bioware's stuff and Oblivion, neither particularly appealing) but for the JRPG's and P&P, that's pretty spot on. I largely prefer JRPG's for my RPG fix, but so many of them have plots that wouldn't work if there was a single intelligent individual in the game world that its getting rather annoying. Also, I cringe anytime I see the word "amnesia" used in a game's plot.

Noodles: At least one d20 system I know of outright gives rules for blowing up planets and other celestial bodies.

The irony of that is that I remember Starfe played it (did he confess that somewhere?). :3 How many nights did we stay up until 4am while you ranted and raved about what you and your buddies were doing with that game, Starfe?
