Looks kind of cool, so I'm downloading it now. I figure I'll give it a try since the interface is similar to WoW. I always liked that setup.

EDIT: I guess the closest thing to a healer is a force archer? I'll probably make one of those, then. I love healing in MMO's.

Yes. Force Archers do buffs, which are always in high demand. XD I know I do my fair share of begging and it's always nice to warp into a world and suddenly have someone casting buffs on you out of the blue o_o.

The only thing I'm going to warn you guys about is it can be slightly repetitive sometimes. Or the annoying "go here, no go there, no go back" quests that make you just cringe and be like WTF?!! WHY AM I DOING THIS AGAIN!! but for those quests, the exp rewards are usually worth it. Though there are quite a few players who rarely do quests and only focus on the storyline ones which open certain things up.

:3 But, I'm glad you are at least giving it a try. Might not be the game for you and I'm sure you are going to be like "Maxine... there are better MMOs out there" but I love it. I hope you love it too.

The Bladers have my sweet love, but they suck in PvPs. Warriors are the PvP GODS. Wizards are good but I've heard their spells take a while to cast. I dunno much about the other classes. The promotions at each 10th level are always awesome. BM2 is always beautiful <3

Also, here is a link to an earlier post and pictures that I had posted: http://www.intothelabyrinth.net/forums/ ... 7940#37940
(Top pic with Morren is in Fort Ruina while other pic with Arauna is Green Despair - and all of my pics are just in the towns. There's more to explore in each world, obviously LOL)

The game updated (Yay!) ... and then I got a scare when it wouldn't load. o_O I was panicking and then I saw the notice about there being server maintenance going on.

x_x dammit... I wanna play... I wanna play.... I wanna play...... I have work to get ready for by the time it's back up (maybe half hour to spare) well, my class canceled tonight so I'll get plenty of time to play then. :3 And I can work to get Arauna up to a decent level.

James Rolfe (Angry Video Game Nerd) released the fourth and final part to his Castlevania series. This whole thing has been a nostalgia trip. There's a whole lot of stuff he got wrong, though. Like candles. As per eastern myth they are supposed to be souls trapped in Dracula's castle. Destroying the candle releases the soul and to thank the Belmont (or whatever playable character it is) they bestow a gift, usually a heart (their love). No one is storing stuff in candles or walls or anything!

And not all games take place entirely in Dracula's castle post Symphony of the Night. Order of Ecclesia sorta has classic stage elements but the experience is ruined by the fact Shanoa isn't a Belmont. Portrait of Ruin took place in the castle but most of the time was spent running through the portraits. It is within Castlevania but it's still different. All in all I'm glad we can both agree Super Castlevania IV is by far the greatest game in the series. Especially since Simon could moonwalk!

I don't get that either. There are games where you can't enjoy it until after considerable play time but that would apply to MMORPGs and non-MMOs alike. A good MMO, like World of WarCraft, can be fun straight out of the box (and a lengthy install/registration process..!). What I'm getting at is a lot of games can take a while to get into it but if you're having fun it's only sucking your life away if you can't moderate your playtime. I have always spent more time socializing than playing MMORPGs at any point of my life and even when I played those games I'd probably be sitting around town chatting on MSN or in-game instead of playing. :b

But that's just my take on it.

I don't know if I'll ever play any MMO again unless it's Ragnarok Online. It's not so much that RO is a great game. It's just that I've played it for seven years and I feel like it has hard-coded its way into my brain. Every formula, the exact time to cast spells with DEX reduction and every little nuance is etched into my mind. It has gotten to the point where I've taken out three transcendent classes decked out in MDEF gear with like an 86 Wizard while I sew. Not like I'm boasting about my achievements or am I proud of myself. It just feels like I already sold my soul. D:
