Dying stupidly is like 110% the fun of NSMB. Course, it gets violent/profane afterwards but oh well, all fun when purposefully killing everyone else.

Having to shake is part of the reason I have not bought it. It is such a trivial problem but I was driven nuts with the modern controls in Excitebike: World Rally and I want a break from motion controls. I really only like the pointing aspect of the Wii Remote. Even games that offer options for simple shaking have caused me problems, such as programming moves in Tales of Symphonia 2.

The fourth stratum in Etrian Odyssey II is beautiful. In the past I have playlisted a vocalized version of that track and it is truly heart-warming to hear the original. It is like how whenever I hear Pollyana I find myself singing I Believe In You. Difficult is it to not hear the vocals to accompany the melody.

Say, do any of you have DSis? How do you like it?
I don't have much of a reason yet to buy one, except maybe for the internet connectivity. My DS is still okay (only one semi-dead pixel), so I'm only curious about the DSi for now.

I have one, but I usually just use my DS Lite since I still play GBA games semi-regularly. Its worth getting one if you don't care about that, though, as its an improvement in just about every other way.

My best friend has a DSi, its features are definitely attractive to me
However, I would hang on to an old one if I wanted GBA-DS connectivity (like in pokemon)
I still have a GBASP somewhere if I simply wanted to play my GBA games, or I could just download the ROM
