How is F-Zero X? Is it as extreme as GX? Does the Story Mode leave you feeling violated?

F-Zero GX did me in so hard that I was almost rendered paraplegic. What sort of sick sadist would offer an even harder difficulty setting after completion? A game such as that is only fit for the Falcon himself.

GX had remixed original music too

but damn I don't think I have ever won a race in GX. Maybe there is some rocket-drifting technique I am missing.

F-Zero on the SNES...was alright, the energy consumption was an interesting dynamic, but it was really boring without koopa shells and bananas flying everywhere. F-Zero X was an improvement, it had more things to look at and think about. A solid racing game, even with stuff like Mario Kart and Extreme Fucking G on the market.With GX, the beautiful visuals and sense of speed was intoxicating. But I could never win a race. It was so....S-Rank.

Honestly, though, Scy, I would take your critique with a grain of salt since I just can't see you playing this or PH and enjoying it. Just not your sorta game. No difficulty in it.
