I am now playing Devil Summoner II and it is awesome goodness. The best thing is that I now have a little plush Raidou Jackfrost sitting on my desk at work.

Back onto Lost Odyssey.
Story is intriguing. Jansen as comic-relief is gold (and a rare case of 'I'd rather listen to the dub thanks'. Battles require decent strategy rather than 'mash X to win'. Loving it.

In my absence:
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers
Liked the story and after I got the hang of it, the gameplay is not bad. If one were to just play this game with the intent of getting to the end, they will be very disappointed. But clearing every battle and trying to find everything, there is a lot of content. My biggest gripe is the end. It is just so abrupt. The player is given access to nice accessories among other resources, like the ability to warp around. I would think this means the home-stretch... but it was really just very abrupt. All of a sudden Layle is Silver Surfer against a massive red hunk of junk that is supposed to be the final boss. Still worth playing, but I wish I could have had more fun with the stuff I had been given. Compare it to Metroid, where Samus will eventually get her hands on the Space Jump and Screw Ball. You know the end is coming but there are still bosses to fight and things to do.
Final Fantasy IV DS
Now my favourite Final Fantasy game yet. So much delicious drama. The music is great and the voice acting, aside from Cid, was a fit for such an emo cast. Loved the story to bits and more importantly, I discovered Cecil Harvey, who now holds a place near Cornet Espoir for my most beloved characters. He is great. Emotional in all the right places, yet he does not feel like dead weight in the plot or battlefield.
Castlevania The Adventure ReBirth
This is great. The graphics scream classic Castlevania yet very pretty to look at. This is really hard. Probably because Hard is the only difficulty I play on. The only thing that could make this better is Super Castlevania IV controls.
Assassins Creed II
Lost interest. Still got to watch my brother finish it to conclude the story.
Team Fortress II
Installed this after I built my new machine. It is a great game to play with friends and family, which is mostly the only time I play. Out of all the classes, I enjoy Medic and Pyro the most. And no, I am not one of those "W+M1" Pyros that have left such a bad image for the character. :b I am more fond of the Flamethrower->Compression Blast->Axetinguisher combo, which I used to dominate my brother's Demoman after some unecessary sass on his part.
Looking to pick up Phoenix Wright when I get more points. Been too busy for that as of late.

I rarely used Pyro at all until I got the Axetinguisher. I can't stand using the Backburner because I love the compression blast ;_;
If there are no medics, and I want my team to win, I feel I have to be one. Same goes for engineer, depending on the map. If you can memorize critical parts of the map, and can use the jump tricks, then Engie can lead your team to victory. Cheers Engineers.
Also I think a lot of people underestimate a level 1 sentry. One of those coupled with a shotgun can bring most people down.

I agree with all of that, except the Engineer thing. I only get onto one whenever I see unupgraded teleporters. Though what I love is when Engineers build near corners. Free points for a fast Pyro. <3

FF IV eh? I just finished that myself the other day. It is a pretty good game, although as usual by the end I was a bit fed up with it. Then again, I level-ground all the way to 99 this time, which doesn't help of course. Hurray for final bosses with only one incarnation. I hate when you think the war is finally over only to get your ass kicked again (well, almost; my strategy to over-level means game-overs are pretty rare).
Cecil isn't anywhere near as great as Cornet in my opinion, but as FF heroes go he's definitely above average.

IV was my first FF game. I never beat it :V
although it was on the SNES which is supposedly an easy version
