Finishing up Apollo Justice and then going to give Steal Princess a try. Maybe. We'll see! Might end up doing Steal Princess some first. Oh boy.

Steal Princess? I totally envy your 1337 Japanese skillz. Let us know how it goes, okay? I was wondering if it is a real RPG, or more like a platformer.

Anyway, right now I'm playing Tales of the Abyss, and thinking about starting up a Maplestory character. But I'm not so sure about that...=\

It's "supposed" to be an RPG-lite Puzzle Platformer hybrid. Supposedly. I'll start playing in a bit.

I still need to finish some of TotA (well, just optional fights). Might do so to prepare myself for Tales of Vesperia later this month since I always seem to suck at Tales games when I first start playing after a break >>.

Steal Princess thoughts ... first and foremost, what's with Japanese DS Games having terrible sound quality? I hate using my headphones for DS games. Just seems to be the intro, however, since in-game voices came out pretty clear.

Speaking of, msotly voiced it seems. I didn't bother to sit down and actually translate the GIGANTIC AMOUNT OF TEXT after the opening sequences so who knows what the story is. No, seriously, this was like 6 something minutes of text with me hammering A. God damn.

First world mission is a joke but looks like you get timed I guess for something (there's "Gold" "Silver" and "Bronze" times). I can't say much based off the first level since it was "Grab sword, kill enemy, grab key, exit stage," beyond ... seriously, I can only carry a Weapon OR a Key? Uh ...

Speaking of time, thank you scene of the door opening NOT PAUSING THE TIMER.

Anyway, first few missions are boring; beat the firs 10 without really much thinking (well, Mission 10 had me grab enemies with the whip and plop them near the items since they were just screen-wide damage and not like a Sword).

For the most part, the game is here's a level, here's some enemies and some items. Your goal is to kill the enemies (or just one enemy or none at all) to get the Key so you can finish the level. It's uh ... not exactly difficult so far but, hey, 10 levels in and they only took like 20-30s each.

The tax holiday for Alabama is this weekend, so I plan to buy a PSP tomorrow or the next day. Unfortunately, video games aren't included in the holiday. But hopefully there will be some sales to take advantage of everybody being out and shopping tomorrow.

MapleStory is the work of the devil. Just like all MMOs. They steal your soul, and then 30 days later, you realize how much time (and usually money) you just wasted.

I speak with experience.

And yeah. I don't have the money for more than the PSP bundle. I decided I'll order it off the internet instead. Mainly because I want a bundle, and it's not available in any stores. But once I get [piracy] homebrew working, I'll check those games out. If I think I like 'em, I'll buy 'em.

Jeanne d'Arc if you like SRPGs; I'd rather emulate FFT if only due to the absurd slow-down for FFT:WotL (seriously ... it delays after every action).

I need to dig up my list of PSP games I wanted. I keep pushing the PSP purchse back farther and farther it seems and the list keeps on growing.

And MMOs ... meh. I never found them hard to quit but maybe I lie horribly since I did play them for a stretch of 10 years straight.
