I assumed it was a "Why did I level this to 99 I hate myself" kind of thing. Hence, "Jesus christ why would you level that to 99." Kind of like "Why did I level this Pixie [SMT] to 99 ohgod" but, whatever.

That said, a little google magic has me unable to see any particularly bad thing about Meddy* so ... I guess it's just a "why did I level to 99" thing. In that case, *shrugs* I have no idea how long it takes to level in Robopon so I have nothing here to say.

The robopon in Robopon 2 have a certain level where they stop gaining stats except for HP and EP.

Meddy happens to hit that cap in the early 40s, givign me not much reason to level her higher than that IN A NORMAL RUN THROUGH. I don't even have access to Gold Temple [Present], which is hands down the best levelling spot in the game once you get access to two RAY3 softwares, which you don't even get until right before the final battle.

In other words, I am a glutton for pain. It would be much more worth to level up, say, Prime to Lv99. Which I have gotten close, he's at Lv94 or something.

I don't mean to tell you how to think of yourself, but I think it will help you to be a little less depressed if you try to think to yourself in positive terms. Worked for me at least.

On topic, I've often leveled characters to lv99 or so(where that was the level cap), or otherwise ground to get more of some item, even when it wasn't necessary at all to beat the game. My parties are usually a little overleveled in RPGs.
