So I massive deleveled one of my characters in Demon's Souls (~100 SL to 10). Wanted to go to 1 but you can't undo Vitality so still had +9 points. Base class Royal.

Except, I did the deleveling at the end of the game. Couldn't relevel before the start of NG+. Man, 1-1 is pretty hard with base Royal's stats and the only spell memorized is Evacuate >>.

Also, my Faith build character accidentally killed the 5-2 vendor. The one who sells Faintstones. God damn it.

Edit: Fighting Game commentary makes me laugh. I don't know why.

Harvest Moon: Animal Parade

Best HM game ever? Not quite, but I'd put it in second place, right after Friends of Mineral Town/ Back to Nature. Everything about it is polished, refined, and an incredible amount of fun.

Proves to me that the HM series is still one worth getting excited about. It's actually distracted me from Mario Galaxy 2.

I also tried Rune Factory Frontier, which I'd had lying around for awhile but gave up on. I have no idea why I cannot also get into the Rune Factory games, but they're boring as all hell to me. The contrast between RFF and Animal Parade in terms of addictive quality is staggering. AP wins by a mile. HM > all.

Is there a Harvest Moon/Rune Factory that lets me play a woman and date women? Otherwise I'm not interested.

S/he is probably "supposed" to be female anyway since you're "supposed" to be male.

If I remember how it's handled in HM DS Cute, it's more of a "we did everything we could to censor this as marriage" deal for that route.

Evo2k10 started today. I've decided to watch the stream.

I realize this is pretty sad. After four hours of it.

I don't even own SSFIV.

Also, Women's SSFIV Invitational is kind of lol. Odd, though. Kayane was fucking solid during the main tournament with her Chun-Li but not doing so hot so far in the Women's Invitational.

Just to clarify though, they'd probably beat the fuck out of me (especially Kayane and BurnYourBra) but some of it is a little hilariously bad compared to some of their performances in the main tournament. Especially Kayane who nearly made it to the Top 32 anyway I thought (or at least out of the pool). Oh well, I know she'd rape me in SCIV (she's a sponsored pro SCIV player).

Half the Daigo fights were pretty much free. To be honest, I don't even remember much of the Shizza and Daigo fights. Unless you mean someone else and then I definitely don't remember it haha.

I think the highlight still is Justin being taken out by Gamerbee's Adon. I so wanted to see him vs Daigo but whatever, I guess; fucking Honda match-up vs Adon. I had high hopes for Vangief and Gamerbee to just confuse the fuck out of everyone and make for the strangest finals possible but oh well. Daigo took it pretty convincingly though at least Ricky didn't just roll over and die to him.

I'm half contemplating picking up SSF4 and getting awesome with Juri but I think I'll just stick to BlazBlue. Two new mains there (since they raped Rachel T.T) to learn from the ground up should be daunting enough.

[spoiler]poor Rachel T.T Full meter combo and she does less damage than an unmetered BnB from Bang or Litchi. God, what? I hope the rebalance patch makes it so she can at least WIN A FUCKING FIGHT by damage.

And for all the squirrel hooker comments I did, I just know I'll end up subbing Makoto. I just know it. She plays too awesome of a beat down rush for me to not consider it.[/spoiler]

While I agree (especially about Vance beating Justin~), it's more of a "holy shitlol" due to Justin's earlier "Adon is the worst character in the game" coupled with him remarking he doesn't practice anymore and blahblahblah. Kind of a "stop being a tool" thing. For a pro player (i.e., he makes his living playing fighting games), you'd think he'd know the match-ups better and be on-top of his game more. Though ... it is Adon.

Anyway, he definitely didn't know the match-up and kind of floundered there. That said, Gamerbee's Adon is still awesome though can't really deny that some of his results stem from "huh Adon wtf" and people don't know how to go vs him. Still an impressive showing from Gamerbee and Vance (seriously, how the fuck padgief I don't understand).
