If there was a Hakan in the Top 8, I think the world would've imploded.

Anyway, point is, Adon match-up knowledge aside, Gamerbee is still a damn good player and played a good Adon. The interwebz are all over Gamerbee as a "terrible" player that "got lucky because of the matchup" and it's a bit annoying. Vance and Gamerbee both are madskillz and, yes, the matchup knowledge was in their favor (more so Gamerbee than Gief but SSF4 Gief is pretty uncommon still) but that doesn't mean they're not good players still.

[spoiler]Though, to be fair ... I'm pretty sure Gamerbee would've been "just some guy" in the Top 8 if he played any other character. Him being "the worst character in the game" Adon definitely made him far more interwebz popular.

And seriously, pad720? PAD720?! With that kind of consistency? I have issues using my stick to Tager 720 in BlazBlue. SF4 buffers better (so you can do what Vance was; normal -> buffer 360 -> walk -> 360) but still...sheesh. That and the padViper confuse the fuck out of me.[/spoiler]

I will say that Justin's "I WILL KILL YOU ALL" mode was flipped on for MvC2. Holy shit were those pretty much one sided. I don't know TvC so I can't say much on Marn's performance there but I kind of wanted Keits or skisonic to take that, but I guess that's just from listening to them commentate the rest of the time.

Well, I never said Gamerbee was bad in any sense of the word.

I was just mentioning how the fact he used Adon when nobody ever really plays him EVER seriously was a boon on his part...

Didn't mean to say you were, was just saying that some people aren't giving Gamerbee credit for actually being good.

I think he and Daigo cleaned up in some money matches after day 2 as well. At least, I know Daigo did (made like $1300?).

Playing DQIX. Collecting Dragonballz. I wish the game wasn't so easy so far. And I'm not even using my skill points yet really

I do have infinite gold more-or-less though (thx Alchemy). Not that that does anything besides cut down on killing shit for moneyz. Hell, keeps my level down actually~

[spoiler]Just got the ship. Grinding Metal slimes to fill out most my classes to ~16-18 and then just sitting on my points until I figure out what I want for my permanent group.[/spoiler]
