Yeah, the English version sold more than the original Japanese one (a little over 26,000 copies by the end of september).

Which is quite a lot for a game developed by relatively unknown doujin soft circles like EGS.

I feel obligated to mention the next Rune Factory game (Oceans) is PS3Wii.

Not necessarily. I think it's an "enhancement" of the battle aspects which is a big difference when talking about the RF series. The battles are often clunky and difficult to manage and often an outright bore despite the fact that it could be a very beautiful highlight if it wanted.

:3 I'm rather excited about this announcement. ^_^ I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO IT.

Though the idea of maleANDfemale... protag.... is... weird. o_O;; And at the same time I like it since that means that I don't have to start the game with the question "which gender" and realize "oh fuck, I shoulda chosen the boy afterall..." ^_^

I thought the next Rune Factory game was Rune Factory 3 for DS?
I hope...I still haven't preordered it.
