Sword and shield is good. Quick attacks and blocking any attack and roars. However, having a proper element is key with it, so make sure you make plenty of them.
Also, consider the hammer Plume Flint. Will help with some later monsters. Get the super pound down, and rape face (literally).

Apparently something to do with their new game, Criminal Girls. Which, if it ever gets localized, is going to make me go, "wut?"

LoL, me at level 1: Nice, get to try out . Get to see what my teacher uses.
Eh, she's nice, but not really feeling her magery; not enough power or burst. Shame.
LoL, me at level 15: I have main tanks, mages, ranged DPS, melee DPS. Guess I'm not a fan of support. Oh well.
Wow, Morgana top tier AND considered OP. Still could never get an idea of her.
LoL, me at level 25: WHAT DO YOU MEAN MORGANA IS MOSTLY SUPPORT?!

Could not be bothered going back to the Sonoran Desert to get the new weapons. Instead I just went and offered anybody an outrageous sum of credits to bring me x weapon/device and COD it my way. Next thing I knew I had begun some sort of rat race where players, new and old, were rushing out into the middle of the desert to get it for me first. At the end of the day, all that matters is I have my beat stick.
And I'm broke.
Which is okay because money is boring.
