Went a little old school today. I remembered that I had purchased the original Harvest Moon on VC. :3 Dear lord. It's still as addictive as the first time I started playing it. Tch, to think when I first downloaded the game as a rom just to give this odd title a try I watched the demo and was like "uhhh.... farming... how the hell could that even be remotely enjoyable."

I must have started and stopped the game about three times, each time getting a little further than the last. When I go to the part of sowing the seeds I sighed, looked up some quick tip guides (learned the C formation and a few other things) and decided "PLAY THE FUCKING GAME ALREADY AND GIVE IT A REAL CHANCE." :3

*wipes a tear from her eye* I'm not sure where I fell in love with the game. Somewhere in between my first ripened turnip and earning the second heart for Ann, I think.

started Gears of War (yeah now, I'm not a fan of main stream games), needed to take a break from EOIII since there's not much I can do for now U_U [hide]besides farming dragons' loot, grinding to lv99, kill the remaining post-game bosses >_>[/hide]

Gears of War's controls pissed me off. It was part of my initial Xbox360 library but I still haven't finished it.

Yes I know. That's why I edited it shortly after initial posting to insert "shooters and". (phew and it looks like that edit avoided being ninja'd this time.) I just don't know what else to call that type of game, if not just shooter. I just don't deal well with the analog stick. Mouse > Stick.

Edit 1: Would "FPS-like" make you happy?

Edit 2: And you're probably going to take exception to "shooter" and say that games like Touhou are shooters. Or whatever. You know what type of game I mean.

I hate playing fps and 3rd person shooters with a controller too...in fact i'm playing it on the pc

...I'm still dying every 5 minutes though but that's me to blame not the controls u_u
