@Maxine:
I'm probably the easiest person in the world to impress as far as games are concerned. But, anyway, Threads of Fate was charming, slightly different type of game, and fun. It had annoying points, yeah, but it was just fun to play.
That said, it's definitely not a game I could probably play now and still enjoy.
Edit: As for Golden Sun, Zamisk, it is fairly easy. I mean, you essentially have infinite PP (regenerates as you walk) so random encounters are basically over before anything happens. Boss fights aren't hard, per se, just that they hit pretty hard and reviving is limited.

I tried Classic Action - Devilish for DS.
I remember having fun with the first one of the series on a friend's Game Gear back when I was a child, but this...is just bad.
Also playing FFTA2.

yeah so I totally bought that Bungle Indie Jungle thing and I'm playing Machinarium and it's pretty damn cool. I never played the POINT AND CLICK ADVENTURE games, most of the PC games I played as a kid were about killing things, like Duke Nukem and Jazz the Jackrabbit. And really that kind of adventure game is something I really get into. So it's nice to be able to pick this up, and I'm not immediately beat over the head with story, it's just a robot waking up in a junkyard and you have to help him get back to the city for whatever reason, I don't know what, but I immediately care about this little derpy robot dude and I'm already totally enthralled with what I'm doing.
Also, unrelated at this point, but did any of you guys play Jazz the Jackrabbit? That was a fucking awesome game. Like the perfect mix of the original Duke Nukem and Sonic the Hedgehog. At least that's how I remember it. Even just seeing the way the levels are drawn and watching those retarded turtles strut around brings about a dreamy, almost creepy nostalgia.
