There's nothing challenging - I REALLY wish I had picked Proud mode. Standard... I've gotten a few game overs on the bosses for just stupid shit (FUCK YOU GOOD FAIRIES!! MAKING THE MAGIC CIRCLE FARTHEST FROM ME AS POSSIBLE THE MOMENT MALEFICENT CASTS HER SLEEPING SPELL...) or one of the bosses managed to get me pinned on a wall in a corner and I couldn't move. >:[ REALLY pissed me off.
However, barring the stupid shit that I do, in basic battles, I've hardly needed to heal. In all honesty, it's playing on the same difficulty as KH2 was made on.
T-T I'm stuck on the moment on a mini game.

I'm no good with rhythm games. *sigh* Once I learn the trick I'm sure I'll get it. <_<; GRRRRRRR
The game might annoy you (or not) Scy since there's a lot of emphasis on mini games. In particular a Mario Party stylized mini game that uses your commands (think 358 commands board) as the game pieces. Depending on what you play and use you can level them up - AND if you manage to land on your opponents pieces and manage to keep them by the end of the game - you get new shit as well. SO FUCKING HELPFUL. Saves HOURS of level hammering.
And leveling is like least worry. It's all about leveling up your attacks, not your character.
Combat is fast and smooth ^_^ the way it is if you were playing KH2. It's so fucking addictive. Magic plays a more prominent role in the game, too. The best attacks are DEFINITELY magic related.
It's fun. It's still a button-mash fest, but it's just absolutely a lot of fun in my book ^_^
... I REALLY hate that I picked Standard mode, too. Secret Ending...

The "challenges" to complete to get it are no less frustrating than in KH2. COLLECT 9,999 MEDALS IN A SINGLE GAME IN MIRAGE ARENA?!! FUCK YOU!! FUCK YOU!!! .........
I forsee a replay of Ven's path in my future.
