Should of seen me when farming Lagiacrus. One match I barely got hit, probably didn't even heal; next, went through half or more of my potions.
Also, got back into League of Legends. First match as shield-bot got more kills than deaths, and blocked two stuns. Second match didn't do as well, but we won in 30 minutes.
Now we're considering for me to take Hatsune Miku for extra heals and auras.
I'd do a catch-myself joke, but

Was hoping for mechanics changes (notably, DS movements were changed, Bow/LBG/HBG all got some small tweaks as well plus shot changes from what I've read). Damage formula seems to be different too since a glance through the weapon listing didn't show any 1500+ Raw weapons (...or even like 1000+), though I may just be blind.

tbh, even though I've had the game for a little over a week with 30 hours and 45 minutes of game time, I've only used the Sword & Shield and Longsword weapon types.
So I don't have anything much to report on the mechanics front, I'm afraid.
The only thing I can really comment on is that the longsword's spirit gauge handles a little differently.
More info on MHP3's controls can be found here:

@Apollon: I don't care for Vending Machines cause they take some fun away from me. I like the selling and the chaining. True, most profit does come from it, but considering I'm at 1.5 mil in my second loop and I've not even made the third payment just yet, profit margin is not an issue - my merchant level is the issue. I'm at 27 right now. At that magical area where you don't get anything until 30, then 40, and then 50.
And I'm still spending lots of times adventuring. AND giving in to Euria. Discovered I can bring her stuff down to about 300% and she won't walk out miffed.
I dunno ^_^ I'm not that much of a perfectionist when I'm playing. I do whatever lets me win and have the most fun.

Dead Space - Finished the game on Impossible difficulty about a week ago. Impossible Mode really makes you think about how to handle every fight since you die so damn fast from basically anything. Final boss still is a joke though when you know how its attack pattern works and can abuse it to high heaven. Still didn't help that I derp death'd on it 3 times before getting past it being hit all of one time merely because I wasn't expecting a certain attack at one point during the fight.
Plasma Cutter + Line Gun = All I needed to get through Impossible Mode ;P.
Got a little under 3 weeks to go until the 2nd game is released.
The Genius of Sappheiros - Touhou RPGs are fun. Cleared stage 8 yesterday. Funny how I've game over'd like all of 3 times so far given how damn tough this game can be if your setup is sub optimal.
Grinding up several characters to prepare for stage 9 and its lovely party splitting hijinks. Yay having to grind certain characters up from lv1 too
