I started Cave Story out of curiosity a couple of days ago and it's a funny game indeed.

I'm also playing Torchlight (reached the 4th Dungeon and I'm starting to die A LOT) and since my flatmate got Super Mario Bros. Wii for Christmas and I've never had the chance to play it for real, I'm now focusing on finishing it before next week (I'm already at World 5 with every Star-Coin and every secret route unlocked...I scare myself sometimes >_>)

oh, and FFTA2 (8 quests left).

Hehe, I'm dealin' with it, and thanks for your input! I wanted to see some first impressions on it before getting it myself.

Dropping gaming for a while since school is starting. Handhelds are an exception, though.

FFT:
Reis with dual Runeblade, Tynar Rouge and Holy Breath
Dragoon with Javelin 2 and Doublehand

Both = OP. Holy Breath did 1600 in a single turn to the last boss, and the dragoon was always doing at least 500-800 to anything in her path.

So that's FFTPSP. Now we move back to EOIII, and get back to Riviera.

The prologue of PSP2:Infinity's Episode 2 is so short I want to play more of it, now. And in English of course. My Japanese is not nearly good enough to grasp more than a vague idea of what the conversations are about.

I like the new sounds, and that (at least some of) the multi-player missions are available without going all the way back to the title screen. And I don't know what ability I selected, but it keeps me healed pretty well. Dumans (new race) look interesting, but their range of skin color is even more limited than the other races, from pale pink to ghostly white. I haven't really tried out Technics yet. I hope they're a more viable form of attack now. Forces were almost completely relegated to support only in PSP2.

Dewman skintone is like Casts, not being able to make a black android always kinda made me sad.

I want my Cast to be like Big Landman. :<

Also, I thought I said it already, but PSP2I nerfed tech costs, you can use attack techs much more liberally now.

Eh, I kinda stuck to the default Newman female; changed some colors around, maybe made the face less ojou. Trying to place how I made the voice, but can't. It's like some slightly deeper version of Kawasumi Mai.
Switching between Hunter and Force right now. Kind of liking Force once I figured out how spells work (oh, you need a rod. I just wanted to use the bow).

Bow uses TP for damage as of PSP2 (as do cards), so it's a pretty viable form of offense for them.

So, I got this game Etrian Odyssey III that's supposed to be good. It looks nice so far.
Quests and missions giving EXP is neat.
Not sure what to make of the sea map icons yet. They're kinda tiny. I'm sure there's an overview somewhere here though.

And it looks reallllly weird. But the good kind of weird. I'd have no idea how to be able to play this, can anybody here help me out(maybe through PMs or something?)
