Pokemon Black/White|Gen 5 probably has the most changes (mechanically, visually, etc.) than prior Gens. The difficulty is a bit higher than prior ones though that's mostly due to no returning Pokemon for the main game so you're "stuck" learning the new guys.

*shrugs* I find that the differences between most Pokemon games are about as large as basically any other game; can't think of too many titles that get a periodic sequel that really changes that drastically (barring genre shifts or something).

I'm planning to do my usual routine and wait until the third game (Grey?) comes out before buying this one. I like Pokemon, but not that much that I have to have the first release of each gen. They kind of start to feel really repetitive to me too if I play them too often. Although I like what I'm hearing about the Pokemon being all new this time around. I swear if I ever have to see another Pidgey or Ratattat while playing these things I'm probably gonna cry.

Oh, i know about the trading between Blue and Red, Scy, and I'm kewl with that. If I have purchased Black and White I want to be able to max my pokedex by trading between those two games.

Having to get Pokemon Red, Pokemon Diamond, and then have to wear some fucked up pokewalker annoys he hell out of me.

And as for the GTS, I could never get it to work for me in Pearl. People were just too outrageous with their requests and demands.
