got pissed off at phantom brave, but seriously it's my own fucking fault.
So I got through the map I was on. But I realized "I don't have many characters" which was becoming worrisome. So, I made some, and then I was like "Failure Dungeon time to level them up quickly!!" ............
I claim temporary insanity or something. I dunno. I don't even know how I fudged up but somehow the monsters I went up against were in their 30s. There weren't many, and it was a 10 floor dungeon. o_O; one of the chars I brought in to level got killed off first map but I still continued, not wanting to pay the monk's charge to withdraw.
Which is how it went from there. In the end, I only acheived my main chars going from lvl 11/12ish to suddenly being 15ish (umm.... but I don't want to make the maps TOO easy! I don't want to break the game!) So I was feeling miffed about that and that Ash got up to lvl 16 and Marona was still only lvl9. SO this is the last way I fucked up.
In one of the maps the weapon I had Marona using got stolen. I started picking up items and using those. Then I'm like "I'm done leveling up my other chars and not leveling up Marona, next map I'm only putting in one char to help out and leaving Marona in." Unfortunately I think there was something special with this map since suddenly there was A LOT more monsters than normal. T-T They killed Marona. Game Over. .................... A half hour wasted.

A warning for anyone thinking of buying Dragon Age 2 who hasn't yet... the last parts of the game are an absolute mess of glitches and bugginess. I seriously haven't seen a game this buggy for a long time. Actually, off the top of my head I think I can only recall possibly two other games that I've ever played that were more buggy than this on release.
So unless you don't mind having to navigate through bugs using an ample supply of online research and possibly the developer console commands, you might want to put this one off until they patch it up a bit first.

I still kind of want to know what happens in Mourning. Actually, scratch that, I want to first learn why it activates on the route I chose and then figure out what should've activated instead and then wonder why it auto-completes.
Plus, y'know, the whole time warping business with Merrill's companion quest.

Apparently, banging Isabela means that [hide]she overrides whomever you actually romance for the end-game[/hide]. And then Merrill just has issues out the ass on her quests.
But the dudebro's all work. I think. Well, besides Sebastian's Friendly buff giving a stacking -5% Damage Resistance every time he leaves the party (and the same goes for Isabela and her 5% Attack Speed buff).

Finally beat Portal!
I was at a party with 4 guys (including my husband) who had already beat the game, so they make me start replaying it from the beginning.
It quickly turns into the "Yell at Kino Game"
JUMP! Put a portal there! No, left! JUMP! You need to angle it 45 degrees left. RIGHT! JUMP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
And they don't want me to stop playing, or take turns doing the levels, no. No they just want to get drunk and yell at poor sober Kino.
It was pretty damn hilarious.
