From what I saw it looked a little similar, but more of an action game, since monster hunter has a lot of emphasis on preparation.

I just got TLoZ: Spirit Tracks today, and it is so much more fun than Phantom Hourglass.

I disagree, but my favorite 3D mario game is Sunshine and my favorite 3D zelda Wind Waker, so _obviously_ my opinions can't be trusted... ;o

Sunshine was a great game, and Wind Waker's cel-shading was charming.

I begged for a Gamecube for years, from the day they came out up until high school. And when my brother moved out and took his PS2 with him, my mom bought me a replacement PS2 instead, which was, you know, a hundred bucks more than a gamecube. Then I begged for a Wii, because my parents told me they'd spend no more than $250 on my birthday in 2006. They got me a Zune.
They're reason? "We already got you that PS2"
And then recently my mom bought HERSELF a Wii and barely touches the damn thing, but gets mad when I'm playing a game on it.
So, forgive me for being, ah, out of the loop on Nintendo console gaming.
I eventually was able to procure a gamecube for a short amount of time, though, enough to play through the Metroid Prime games and Twilight Princess. I was gonna go for Wind Waker after that but I had to give the gamecube back for some obscure reason like it was a present from someone's dead grandpa or whatever...I'll get around to Wind Waker though, and I'm sure I'll give Sunshine a shot, despite not liking what I played of it very much.

Man I kinda want to replay my gamecube now, due to being horribly careless with everything I own as a child (and just plain careless now), the only games I can find of note are the Baten Kaitos series, Sunshine, Metroid Prime, and that Star Fox Adventures game (what? I liked it...). Plus, not knowing where the memory cards are means i can replay them all over again!
My Wii is worse, the lid with the gamecube ports popped off I think, and haven't really touched it since I haven't felt like playing any of the games.
...Wait, is Ogre Battle 64 on the Virtual Console?

Used gamecubes are pretty cheap these days.

Shit, noodles, I should have sent you my gamecube instead doing whatever it was I did with it when I bought my Wii.
I bought my PS2, GameCube and Wii. But, then again, I started working when I was 17.
I'm about to play Falf-life 2 for my husband's amusement. Wish me luck.

HL2 is the best FPS ever and you might enjoy it even if you don't enjoy FPS otherwise

So, I've come to my verdict to which game I like better between Origins and DA2. I prefer Origins. While the graphics and battle pacing may be off (and mages are insanely broken) , DA2's plot just let me down after act II. That and [hide]defeating the Arishok[/hide] should have gotten a better cutscene of you killing him.
Act III also just seems to be very laggy too. I feel like I just played a longer version of Witch Hunt, which pretty much was a Dragon Age II advetisement.
DA2's whole plot: "BUY DRAGON AGE 3."

Am playing Sims Medieval. Arrived today and just got through the tutorial. I'm really looking forward to playing this game and it looks like it's going to be just a lot of fun.
However, it's an EA game. I'm sure they'll fuck it up somehow, somewhere. If not gameplay than loading times. I'm waiting. Until then, I'm going to try to enjoy the few thrills I can manage to get from it. At least Clarissa is stoked about this game. *shrugs* So at least $50 won't be TOO wasted.

Ogre Battle PoLC and MotBQ are on the Wii; which is fucking radically awesome and I own them both.
Falf-life 2 is fun so far. I've gotten frustrated a few times and had to look at a walkthrough on a few others, but for the most part I'm enjoying myself. I would not be playing it if not for Mr Kino's desire to watch me play -- it's definitely not a game I'd play otherwise... too much shooting and dying.
Also FPS movement is like my achilles's heel of gameplaying. I'm just not that coordinated ;___;
