That's pretty good.
Did the Tank always sound like Heavy though?

Oddly, as I've been wrapping up my EOIII playthrough, I've been getting to itch to do another run of Rune Factory 3, the game I beat right before it.
Hopefully, this does not become some kind of endless cycle.

Finally finished Threads of Fate, love that game, probably do another play-through once I've properly steeled myself to face Mel's Atelier again.
Currently installing For Answer to my HDD.

Playing through Adventures of Hourai High. It's quite fun, and obtaining skills through school clubs is a interesting way to do it.
In Yakuza 4, I finished Akiyama's story, and now starting on Saejima's. Akiyama is a pretty cool guy, gives free money as long as the people can end up supporting themselves. Got Saejima's hideout, so I'll probably do the sidequests before finishing going on through. I have to say though, the beginning of that was annoying, at least he leveled up quickly to face Saito and [hide]Kiryu.[/hide]

This week's Famitsu is filled with goodies. In no particular order:
- Growlanser IV (PSP) that we probably won't see because Atlus am terrible.
- Binary Domain (PS360) information. That's the shooter from the Yakuza creator.
- New Chaos Rings game from S-E: Chaos Rings Omega (iOS).
- Two new tri-Ace IPs, working with Konami:
* Frontier Gate (PSP) and Beyond the Labyrinth (3DS). Suguro is working on BtL and sounds like the Star Ocean team is working on FG. FG seems to be inspired by Monster Hunter and BtL is "a 3D dungeon RPG" that I have no idea what the fuck he means by that.
- Nora to Koku no Koubou: Kiri no Mori no Majo (DS) with the Atelier Team and Shigeo Komori. Not much known about it so dunno if it'll be an EO-like game or not with Komori on board. Literally only know the team (+ Komori) and title >>
- And then just general information on Ao no Kiseki, Grand Knights History, Tales of Xilia, etc.
2011 (and 2012) even further cementing PSP as the go-to system for RPGs. Odd how that happened some 5+ years after it's release.
Edit: Also this from Nintendo Power:

It's funny to see even Nintendo acknowledging how asinine Namco Bandai's shenanigans are XD

Still wish for that Tales of Vesperia PS3 version, but that'll happen when a non OG Super Robot Wars comes out in the states.

SRW at least has the excuse of being a licensing nightmare, though.

Well, beat Portal 2, both the single and co-op modes.
Thoughts on Portal 2 ending (huge spoilers):
[spoiler]
Amazing! Really great, I loved the final bit with the turret opera and then, oh, and then Glados chucks your companion cube out for you -- I guess so you won't be lovely, the dear thing.
And poor Wheatley in Space. I did so love Wheatley.
Although the song wasn't nearly as great as Still Alive, but that's to be expected of course.
[/spoiler]
Philosophizing on Portal 2's hinted at backstory (major spoilers):
[spoiler]
Reading some interesting theories online about Caroline/Glados being Chell's mother, and Cave Johnson the father. It certainly makes sense given the turret opera's song. Some people have their timeline confused and are trying to say that Cave died in '76, when that's clearly false considering he recorded the 80s test chamber stuff.
But I knew Glados was Caroline even before she was introduced. There's a turret you can rescue from the assembly line -- it gets you an achievement -- and if you hold on to it long enough you get to hear some different stuff. One of the things it says is "She was Caroline. Remember that." so naturally I put 2 and 2 together as soon as Cave introduces Caroline.
[/spoiler]
Thoughts on the middle section of Portal 2, minor spoilers
[spoiler]
Absolutely loved the story of the old Aperture testing facilities; the background, the progression through the 50s to 70s to 80s, the different gels (white gel -- YES! portal ALL the things!) Did not like the actual testing. Too open in design. Mr Kino and I agreed on that regard.
[/spoiler]
General Portal 2 thoughts:
Too short! Especially the co-op mode. I'd hoped for more to play, especially since there isn't much replay in a puzzle game like Portal. Beating the single player does unlock the [hide]developer commentary[/hide] which is nice. [hide]Although some of the commentary is rather dull[/hide]
I must have overlooked this, but, am I the only one who bought Portal 2? I have it for the 360 (only way Mr Kino and I could play together) and that's not hooked up to the internet, so it isn't like I can play it with anyone, but I'd be interested in swapping thoughts. I've noticed there were some little easter egg things I missed [hide]like Chell's name being on one of the Take Your Daughter to Work Day potato projects[/hide] even though I did catch the [hide]rogue turret[/hide] so that's something to talk about.
