The best part about sharpening hammers is that you sharpen the shaft rather than the head.

It makes it more aerodynamic, I guess?

Just finished Z.H.P and loved it. I think it was the first game I played that dealt with such issues as[spoiler]Unplanned pregnancy or your entire family hates you and believes you to be a total failure[/spoiler]

I think I will either start replaying Spyro the dragon or Nocturne.

Sirth, the Festival of Fear is up. ^_^ I may not be of much use right now, but maybe you can take me along, if you plan on doing it? I need to learn how to be useful in my low rank, for now.

How do I man the ballista? XD I keep gboing near them and pressing everything, but nothing happens--I am getting Ammo. I'm feeling bad for this one HR 110 guy who was leading us through the whole quest. He said to hit the gong when it looked like Jhen was about to hit us... And every time I did, it apparently was just getting close to us... *facepalm* I don't know these things... D ; It's my first time fighting it and I'm doing it practically blind (only having seen one video in Japanese and completely ignorant of how to play).

And really, I don't know why the Ballistas are not working for me. I get near them and everything. XP It's a little disheartening to know I screwed up everytime. It is a nice reminder I still have a long way to go, but when yu have a player using a crappy set and a crappy sword, I kind of feel I did a little better. XP I at least had a set with enough Defense to keep myself alive and paid attention after I noticed some of its attacks.

So, questions about Jhen Mohran fight:

1. HOW THE FUCK DO I USE THE BALLISTA? D ; Seriously, it makes the risk of getting that ammo totally worthless, if I can't even use it.

2. What's the sign of it about to ram us vsjust running alongside us?

3. I only have two longswords right now: Anata + and Wyvern Fire. I am trying to work towards Thunderclap, but I'm still ways off. Anata is probably worthless with its Paralyze ability, so Wyvern or Thunderclap may be my best choices out of what I have right now.

4. Is there a secret to keeping yourself on Jhen's body or is it just hope and pray you land on it again? I actually got flipped over on its other side at one point. XP

if I remember right, you select the arrows as if you were going to use them, then stand next to the ballista and use them. But I haven't played in a while, so I don't remember for sure.
