Last week decided to play through Link to the Past. Beat it today. Was fun.

I'm liking Lord of Arcana more and more the more I play it, and it turns out it's not quite as easy as I'd thought. I fought Bahamut for the first time this afternoon and used about 10 potions. On the one fight. He also took about 15 minutes. Oh, and after all that, I didn't even get his core.

After I'd won, and was casually mowing down enemies in the next quest on my list I was killed by a regular enemy, a Griffin. I can't believe my first death in the game was from a regular enemy. I was being way too reckless for most of the fight, since I had no idea it had such ridiculous amounts of health. I also took a while to notice that its projectiles were damaging me through my guard. The really annoying thing is that after I revived, it only took 1 more hit to kill it.

Despite loving the game to death now, I do have a couple more gripes with it. I don't like how it permanently displays how many of each rank you have achieved on your Guild Tag. Say I spend 15 minutes farming for stuff in a quest I need to beat in 5 minutes to S rank. I'll get a B, which will then be proudly displayed, forever, on my Guild Tag. I currently have 3 Bs for this very reason. I may deserve that D I got for being killed by that Griffin, since I was stupidly reckless, but I don't deserve a bunch of Bs because I want to get my farming done in one go, rather than having to repeatedly clear the same quest over and over pointlessly.

I'm also starting to get annoyed by the lack of a pause function. I know a lot of games don't let you pause, but it really pisses me off.

Still, I fucking love this game, and now I'm off to see if I can kill a Shade Drake yet.

Already have. I'm just checking out the new stuff for old time's sake. F2P is so mundane. XD Not to mention I can't really do much anymore.

Oh man, Runescape was my first online anything. I was a member and everything, I still have all that member-only crap which I can't even use and is blocking up all my bank space. But I can't seem to just delete them for some reason.
...That and I don't intend to play it ever again. <-<

At the present moment in time that I am at in Assassin's Creed II, Ezio Auditore da Firenze is [hide]freaking HOT. Dat beard, dose robes. Bastard walks into a brothel, all prostitutes drop what they're doing and come to him. And I'm sure he walks into plenty of brothels.[/hide]
