Re: Games you are playing
Do guild quests in MHFU yield better chances for rarer rewards than Elder Quests? Although the Barbaroi is a crappy GS, it's good enough to kill Khezu with. I'm breaking it's back/head, but due to how low of a chance getting a Pale Bone is (let alone 2 for the Gauntlets and Helm) I'm getting nothing. Well, I guess this is good farming for money. XD

Re: Games you are playing
So, are any of you getting the third ?
Would you like me to get you a copy? I'm offering to buy two HIB3s and send them as gift code to whomever is interested. Just reply here or contact me by PM.

..Khezu's face won't break. =_= Honestly 8% of a drop is so ridiculous for an item that requires two of the rarest drop... If I could connect my PSP to my internet, I'd probably have that armor sooner. XD
Re: Games you are playing
4 Heroes of Light is still fun. The boss for the forest area seemed broken to me, as I had the best gear and weapons, was steamrolling all the nearby enemies, and he 3 shotted me every time. I ended up just over-leveling and beating him. Did anyone else have that problem? And the encounter rate seems really high in some areas and really low in others. Other than that it's a good game...

You mean Arbaroc, guardian of Arbor?? It is hard until you realize you can just make Brandt into a White Mage. The key is to have them all wearing something to reduce magic damage, not physical.
Also, leveling does little to alleviate difficulty in that game. The enemies level with you. To a certain extent of course. Since the player might have better multipliers on their stats, they will overcome certain bosses, but others become harder. Also, the different crown stats start to become more defined as you level. So the nukers nuke harder, the tanks tank sturdier, etc.
And yes, it is an amazing game. My favourite part, aside from the simple yet challenging and rewarding gameplay, is the presentation. Feels like someone was brought from the 80s through time to make an RPG game. The elements of 8-bit mingled into the soundtrack and the general adorable art style is memorable.

I still fail the Library with the Warlord in Desktop Dungeons.

Re: Games you are playing
So, for once, I was not the noob that had to apologize for dying during a mission. In MH3, I was hunting Jho with a group, and this was one guy's first time. I was the second lowest DEF with low Dragon Res and not completely upgraded Los armor (3/5 is HR level) . When one of them told this guy who kept dying to switch to SnS, I decided to switch because I thought I'd take less damage...
I got the shit kicked out up me with SnS, even worse than with LS. XD However, every ne of my deaths weren't due to stupidity. It was due to that guy who refused to SnS hitting me with his LS, while I was blocking the Dragonbreath attack. Got us both killed. XP
Now, an MHFU question:
I like Khezu armor, but the Khezu D armor has one skill I absolutely hate. I prefer Speed Sharpening over every skill in the game--as long as I can sharpen before I'm hit, I'm happy. I need a good Fire Resistant armor, now that I'mm be fighting things like Basarios, Rathalos, and Rathian. Obviously the Raths both have good armor (and it seems Rathian Armor's better than Los armor in this game. O_O PERFECT.) to resist fire, but... Would Khezu D be a good investment until I get one of those sets? Or does that halved sharpening make it not as good as the original, as I am thinking?
