Another reason why I am not playing TF2.

So I'm at an impasse on pre-ordering one of these games:

Disgaea 4 (haven't gotten a new N1 game since Soul Nomad... which I haven't finished yet. Artbook of Takehito Harada is the main draw)
King of Fighters XIII (Fighting game fan, liked SNK, heard this is awesome. Soundtrack of the entire series at a cheaper price is getting to me, plus Iori 98 bonus)
Dark Souls (Liked Demon's Souls)

Urge on which one to pre-order changes on mood. DS is probably lowest on the list. I could wait on KoF with my other fighting games, but that Iori 98 is tempting. Disgaea 4 is on top because of my old fandom with Disgaea, plus samurai chick and onmyou guy.

Found info on D4 a little more. Exclusive Soundtrack and Fallen Flonne from N1's store (they say Gamestop only, but people are getting some half-direct answers to a direct question from N1) means that will be the one.

Since I finished Devil Survivor just now, I'm gonna head back into EO1 and conquer that labyrinth once and for all! >:3

Well, last time I was on here, I had a whole long post typed up but lost it all and didn’t get time to retype it up because I had stuff to do. I can’t be bothered typing everything again so I’ll just give the gist of my points here.

@ Strider Hiryu being in MvC3: Fuck yes. I think those two words sum up my feeling on the matter quite well. I never really got into MvC3 and I think part of the reason was that Strider’s unexplainable absence kept lingering in the back of my mind bugging me. I am curious to see how much he gets nerfed, since in MvC2 he was very good even in the hands of a scrub, but in the hands of a good player he was utterly ridiculous.

@Drahti: Unless it has been changed in a firmware update that I am unaware of (which is definitely possible, as I usually update in large jumps), PSPs don’t support WPA encryption. I had to bump my network down to WEP to connect to the net with my PSP (though I wouldn’t recommend that; I’m fine since I live in the middle of nowhere, but WEP isn’t really secure at all).

@Lord of Arcana: My main problem now is deciding what orbs (think accessories that you equip in your armour) to equip. I’ve been running a full set of armour with the max possible slots (3+2+2=7)for a while now, but so many great orbs keep unlocking…

Just equipping the staple stat boosters, and a full set of racial modifiers takes up all seven slots. Which leaves no room for some brilliant support orbs, such as Mana’s Guidance (you gain more mana per hit) and, my personal favourite, Healing (regen 1% of your max HP per second, but lose 20% of your defence). Healing really is awesome, now I don’t even have to heal all most of the time. There is also the basic stuff like Eye of the Gods (lets you lock on to specific body parts) and Eye of the Seeker (lets you see where stuff is on your map, regardless of where you are). It’s really frustrating to have to leave behind so many great orbs regardless of what setup I go for.

@RTS: One of my weaker genres. Depending on the game, I’m generally competent enough to beat the A.I. on any difficulty, but I’ve never considered myself good at them. I’ve never played any RTS competitively, but I can guarantee I would be destroyed. I don’t like them that much anyway. Except for Dawn of War, that game fucking rocks.

@FPS: I’ve never been a big FPS fan, but as long as I have a gamepad, and not a keyboard + mouse, I’m pretty good. Again, not a genre I’ve played competitively, and I highly doubt I could, but I can beat anybody I know and most A.I. consistently.

I'm putting off my Tigrex Urgent until I can get some better armor. after defeating the White Monoblos, I only have 1 4 star Elder quest left... Kushala.

So, I have absolutely no problem fighting it until it goes into rage mode and spams it's... wind-shield... thingy. I thought that it was just an advanced wind pressure and I tried Demonzing my way through it. Not even that can break through. Anyone know a good counter measure for Kushala's cheap wind defense?
