Ah, I see. Turbo sounds like the strangest part. Seen anything as gamebreaking as Yata-Garasu?

Most of the game breakers are on a ban list, which kind of sucks but they still exist. Most of the newer game breakers you won't see for the longest time, but as for current we have these:

Dark Armed Dragon
Plaquespreader Zombie
Brionic Dragon of the Ice Barrier
Reborn Tengu
Great Shogun Shein
Blackwing, Gale the Whirlwind
Elemental Hero Absolute Zero
Relinqueshed

Of course, there are many others [but those are more reliant on running a deck just for them.], and these are just examples. You'll get some of these from packs you get from completing the story half-way. You can get Brionic straight up when the game starts if your luck with Synchro Awakening Packs.

Looking for: TF2 and/or LoL buddy. Applies to any other fun multiplayer games you play, too, assuming I have that game or I can get it.

Because playing them on your own (or when your friends are doing/playing something else) is boring ;~;

...they did not just put Heavy Storm onto the banned list. *is going to be very upset*

...and with 2 MSTs... honestly, Heavy Storm was the best card to have in limited. With only on Heavy storm, you had to make that use count. Especially whn you have some plays that essentially force you to play into the other's hand.

I forget what deck I faced, but this guy had an Exodia deck with some magic and field cards that made it impossible for me to attack him at all. Snipe Hunter took out the play before I got Heavy Storm and then he played the same set up again with the doubles.

Heavy storm forces people to stop stalling and it clears the field easily too. xD Sometimes I want to clear my side of the field as well.

There is a forbidden limited list available when you get 80% or 90% (Can't remember) of all cards in the game that will make it to where you can have 1 forbidden card, it'll take a while to get that many cards.

I use Malevolent Catastrophe and Giant Truenade as a heavy storm substitutes [Catastrophe requires them to attack though]

The only monsters that hav maintained their place in that deck from day one are: Sangan and Mystic Tomato. My first card, Celtic Guardian was replaced by Obnoxious Celtic Guard.

I never encounter the Turbo/Syncro decks yet... would a deck versed in the traditional dueling be rendered obsolete, or would it be capable of taking one on? My deck is a more adaptable type of deck, largely because unlike a game, you don't have access to every card. XD It's the best I can make with what I have.

A lot of old cards still have their place, all elemental search cards [Mother Griz, Giant Rat, Tomatoe, Shining Angel, etc.] are still used and are still useful, Sangan is still used, Jinzo is still used in decks more centered on spell cards, the early monarchs [Mobius & Granmorg] are still used, Kelbek and Legendary Jijitsu master are still helpful if you have them, chaos sorcerer is still around, Magic Cylinder is now Semi, making it more useful too, Negate Attack will help if you need battle phase stall, Slate Warrier, Gemini Elf, Vorse Raider and all other Normal monsters with high attack or defense still have their place and are still completely useable, Exiled Force is unlimited, Tyrant Dragon is exceptionally still good for its age, In the current metagame, if your running old school, run Black Horn of Heaven [or if you have monsters that can take advantage of it, just the Horn of heaven.] it will help you a lot, along with Compulsory Evacuation Device. Ceasefire is still very reliable burn, skull servants have some more support floating around, so do amazoness and right now Gravekeepers are dominating because of some new support they got [the classic gravekeepers help.], Relinqueshed is as effective as its always been, you still have a lot of options.

An old school deck isn't out of the question, it'll just be a little harder.

It should totally need Anti Raigeki. Best card out there.




Have a weird gemini deck, normal monsters that have an effect when you "summon" them again.

Anti Raigeki is pretty useless if nobody can even use the regular Raigeki, White hole on the other hand...

I tried more or less everything back in the day. Would sometimes concede defeat if an AI could keep me below 8000 life points. 4000 was unacceptable.* Theme decks were under less pressure than allpurpose decks, though.
