My first Alatreon Battle wasn't so bad... I failed the quest, but I lasted far longer than I expected. XD I was even getting in a good amount of hits (was the one who cut the tail too).
Best moment though:
Friend: Next time he flies up, don't move. They won't fall on you if you stay still.
*five minutes later and alatreon is in the air*
Me: *gets hit by ice* Maybe if I stay still after this... OH GOD HERE COMES ANOTHER.
Friend: You weren't staying stil.
Me: DID YOU SEE WHAT JUST HAPPENED? ; o ;
All in all, Alatreon's a fun fight. Playing MHFU has taught me some very nifty strategies for dealing with Elder Dragons. Of one whch is to run around every attack that they dish out. You can't tank them (without a lance) and you can't dodge them easily up close.

So, I wanna beat Alatreon before I lave for college. I'm having trouble maintaining a party due to the game DCing me every time I get close to starting the quest. It might just be the server(Greed) I'm on. It never happens on Valor or the others.
Anyways, if anyone still plays Tri and wouldn't mind helping me, tell me. ^_^ I might be having friends over, so today might not work.

Heh. Eye for Eye + Hot Blooded in New Vegas to be the most dangerous groggy cripple. :3
I suppose while you're down there anyway, Nerd Rage would help you survive.
Once OWB starts, the max effect of Eye for Eye is reduced by a sixth, though.

Diablo III will feature an Inferno difficulty mode, in addition to the Nightmare and Hell difficulty of the past. What is interesting about this difficulty mode is that, through the course of the adventure, the actual difficulty and monster stats do not scale upwards. They remain consistent throughout the adventure. Since monsters become more complex and offer increased challenge as you would normally progress in standard difficulty modes, monsters in the Inferno difficulty setting are modified in the early game to use different, more aggressive AI and new abilities. It is for level 60 (max) characters only, and all enemies baseline at level 61.
The glory in all of this is it will never be about 90% of the playerbase just doing whatever run offers the least resistance to find loot. It will be implemented and further tweaked after development to make sure every faucet of the game (in Inferno offers equal challenge, equal reward and most importantly equal fun.

People are acting like HuK is dead because he left Team Liquid for Evil Genuises. I can only see this as being a great thing. EG does not have the best player lineup right now and he will fit in well with the high profile personalities of iNcontrol and IdrA. As a GSL Code S competitor, it will give EG someone good for future tournaments. The competitive scene will best flourish if the handful of good foreigner teams that exist all have an equal amount of good players to keep them, well, competitive.
