The KOF XIII topic, in the Atlus section, made me want to play KOF '98 again, so I did and there went my whole weekend XD. So much for productivity...

Specifiaclly, I played it in the Orochi Saga Collection on the PSP. I played through Arcade Mode a few dozen times and completed all the challenges. Funnily, the only one I had any trouble with was the one where you have to play a perfect round, even though I get them all the time when playing normally. It only took 3 tries, but still.

My '98 team has always been Iori, Kyo and Blue Mary. I'm still very good with Iori (not quite where I was before, but still good), but I seemed to have slipped quite a bit with Kyo and for some reason now I completely suck with Blue Mary. By the end of the weekend I'd picked up quite a bit, but I'm still not back at a point where I could be confident in my ability to win against another decent human opponent with either of them.

Like seriously. The game was officially translated and, unlike with EarthBound, there is not really anything to cause legal conflict. They could profit so easily from a virtual console release.
