I did my fair share of item worlding. Got a few level 20-40-ish items (mostly Emblems, now that I think about it). Put off Chara World and grindan (barring some on 5-2 to test something out) for the post-game since I wanted the story to remain somewhat challenging.

Which it wasn't.

Until the final chapter had me randomly start losing units :/ Some of the maps get downright vicious.

Genius of Sappheiros - Stage 21...oh dear. Suddenly everything here wants you to die a horrible horrible death. Random mini boss enemies, while rare, with 30k HP or more and massive offensive/defensive stats? Yup.

The normal enemies are real beefy too, usually having around 9k-12k HPs.

What's crazier? 3/4ths of my team gets 2x the base xps gained from a fight because they're all around lv50...and get boosted xps until lv60 it seems. Yay I guess, but god those enemies .

Working towards making a Kusanagi Sword. Need 30 Irons (Have 17 right now), 1 Adamantite, and 1 Orichalcum. The last two are extremely rare (usually you make them with 4 Adamantite/Orichalcum Shards), but I believe a full piece of each is available in the last map before the final boss fights. If they're not available right now, then for sure they're available when post game content kicks in.

Also, Mokou + Fujiyama Volcano = Christ almighty awesome damage.

I just started playing disgaea 1 for the ds, i'm so behind the times ;;

Any suggestions? I'm still at vyers palace, and all of my dudes are level five if that helps.
Also: I just got a rarity of 2 wooden staff, ha ha, so legendary.
