Playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite lately, taken a liking to heavy bowguns.

Desco is like the best story unit they've ever made.

She single-handedly has made me reconsider my opinion of monsters.

Of course, it helps that the good leveling stages all require Monsters somehow (Giant Desco for 9-2, Giant Fused Nekomata for CoO4).

High damage, good HP, good defense, and she's one of the only characters that can really take advantage of the early leveling spots. 5-2, for instance, is pretty easy for her with True Final Weapon when Giant Fused (which also means you're leveling two characters at once for 100% EXP/100% Mana as it's duplicated between them, not split). Off the top of my head, Giant Yog Sototh is the only way to easily level on 9-4 as well.

Plus, she Magichanges into a Sword which is always useful. And it has a nice skill attached to it (single-target B Damage, the name escapes me at the moment though).

hmmm....maybe i have to level her up more since she's the only one (besides Vulcanus) that can't one-shot the enemies at 5-2. and when does she get a skill besides "final boss arises"? because there's hardly ever a chance that enemies are aligned that way...

I dunno, I found Final Boss Arises surprisingly useful since multi-target skills in general are just damn rare early on so I got a lot of mileage out of using it to hit two or three people. Anyway, True Final Weapon is Level 42 (+ pattern) and Yog-Sototh is Level 100 (3x3).

Additionally, she has actually useful Evilties; Fuka and Fenrich have such shitty Evilties Honestly, I find it hard to believe you can't one-shot things with her since Monster Weapons have good ATK, her ATK growth is insane, and she can get +80% pretty easily by just being surrounded by people (+160% in Giant Form for ridiculousness).

Also, got my Flonne code. Probably going bow, since her stats seem more geared for it.
