You probably picked the shitty Ring, huh? The Key is arguably the best since it's Unique to the Gift here, or selecting Thief class; the Pendant has an impact with NPCs I believe but I don't know who or what.

Wanderer and Pyromancer have the best starting starts, for the record (84 at Level 1) with Magician as the worst (80; Thief is next at 82).

I used all of those twinkling titanites to bring one of my Black Knight swords to +4, giving it a base 287 attack power =D

can kill stone golems and ice elementals in two hits with my character below level 30, lol
It also scales with Strength (C) and Dexterity (E), but I have no stat bonuses yet since I only have the min required 20 Str and 18 dex.

killed that guy at level 12 on my first try.

just keep your guard up and wait until he attacks. After you dodge/block the attack, just put your sword up his ass. As long as you keep moving around behind him he will NEVER hit you.

Also, fuck you Demon's Souls. I got my Uchigatana, Adjudicator's Shield, Brushwood Armor and everything under the dragons... and lost 20000 souls in the process.
