Re: Games you are playing
I have Pia at 9 hearts, so I guess she's gonna be my lovely mermaid bride.
But I'm only in Fall, so I'll slow up the courting process until I have a chance to get further in the main plot with the Univir.

Re: Games you are playing
I just finished Final Fantasy V. As usual for me playing FF, I was somewhat overleveled, and just wanted the game over with by the time I got to the final dungeon. This installment had a little too many boss fights at the end for my taste, especially compared to the number of savepoints in between them.
Unlike many, I don't hate the job systems in FF3 and FF5. In this game though, the limit of having at most two commands from the huge set (50+ at the end) available on the menu means that you kinda have to pick the handful that are most useful, sometimes even switching them between battles. That kinda defeats the appeal of the job system for me. I like it because it allows me to mold the characters to how I want them instead of having a fixed class for each of them. At the end of the game all that matters is dealing as much damage as possible though, with no room for personal quirks. Which means that the cool hunter/ninja/monk/samurai/summoner fighter that I wanted is going to have just one ninja and one samurai skill in the final battle and hasn't used a bow since the middle of the game. The two puny mages who learned the dancer and bard skills because it fit their wimpiness have mastered the monk job as well because that gives them the HP to endure, even though it doesn't fit my image of them. Oh, and the dark knight ended up with a holy lance and sword. No self-respecting dark knight would want to be seen dead with such weapons of course, but alas, utility just trumps personality.
Ah well. Like I said, by the end of a long RPG I'm always glad to be done with it.
Now, I still have quite a few DS games waiting to be played, but my DSi's bottom screen is all wonky. I guess I'll have to play another PSP game next.

Re: Games you are playing
Still playing Disgaea 4. I now have level 9999 Nekomata and Galaxy Mage with relative ease thanks to item duping. Would have been faster if I had unlocked LoC ==;
I'm almost tempted to steamroll the post-game story... since I haven't started it yet. But I still want those DLC classes first >_>
I suppose I'll reincarnate them. I need to Chara World for the Omega and Tera spells anyway >_>

Re: Games you are playing
Working on something of an adventure map for a change. Tested out some stuff and I have a few kinks to work out. xD I'm trying to basically have it force you through multiple dungeons that increase in length. They give you the cooridinates of the next dungeon, and the last one tells you where the treasure is. xP
As for story, I'm not sure I can make a good one just yet. It's my first map, so I'm focusing on the adventure aspect first.

Re: Games you are playing
Got back to the post-game in Disgaea, I don't like how they only let you get one epilogue per playthrough, I'm not eager to do the main story three more times. I think I'll at least get far enough to get Raspberyl before I go back and do it again.
Also, Scy, it did fill up, you popular motherfucker.

Re: Games you are playing
It filled up this morning, actually, since I had a few invites sitting there waiting for confirmation when I woke up
I can free up space, I guess.

Re: Games you are playing
I can still only watch other people play Dark Souls. Combat looks fun. But game doesn't seem as hard as other Castlevanias if only because platforming is still limited in 3D versions. Punching monsters has generally never been as hard as pixel jumping. Though it evens out a bit in enclosure.
