How many times have I restarted my file on 4 Heroes of Light after abandoning it on the final dungeon and not wanting to take it where I left off?
Well tonight I have finally finished it... and I must say the last few floors of the final dungeon were a real treat. The whole experience, despite the 3d graphics, felt like beating an early 90s RPG all over again. The general design direction and especially the audio does great service in this regard. Chaos made for a sufficient final encounter. Cool attacks and mechanics overall. The music transition for when he grows weaker, once again, had that wonderful nostalgic groove.
I will probably beat this game like three times before I touch anything else on the DS. Or I should actually finish an Etrian Odyssey game for once. Would I start up such a long epic, when Cave Story 3d is slated for release in four days time? Rather not.

...I wanna play Earthbound again... Or at least want Touhou Mother 2 to finish up its translation so I can play it.

Woo! Zetta beaten, with a legendary Yoshitsuna, and his move item, along with his cape and Makai Wars.
So X-Dimension completely unlocked, and Meowkin pirates found and destroyed.
Also decided to just say screw it, and duped myself my 16 300 statiscians, plus two stacks of Gladiators. About all I really would of wanted out of duping anyway.
So far, my epic equipment includes:
Demon Ninja at level 258. Named: Oboro Muramasa. Equipped on samurai named Momohime.
Fragarach at 228. Named: The Answerer. Val's main weapon right now.
