I don't know that badass and cool are entirely interchangeable labels.... I would agree that the guy looks badass, but cool? No, probably not.

Noodles that is not true. There are certainly the fakers, but there are plenty of people here who actually run ranches and have big thick hick accents and wear the outfit. There jean hems are dusty and their boots are worn and their hats are just another part of them. They wear plaid western shirts tucked into wranglers with a belt and huge buckle and they swagger around and go to Rodeo and major in Ag related fields. We're a major agricultural college, and my high school had top-ranked ag programs as well.

Also, why would I not hate the Wester frontier? My people were slaughtered during that period.

Also Oklahoma does not belong to the civilized tribes anymore. I believe New Mexico or Arizona has a higher per capita population. Most everyone here has some tribal blood. My family's roots can be traced directly to the Chickasaw Removal in the 1820s.

Kino I know about all that and was gonna mention it but it seemed to derail my point

as for you hating a period because your people were slaughtered, having hatred for a time period is silly. I have never met a holocaust survivor who HATED the 30's and 40's. They would say it was terrible, but also very important, carrying endless lessons of peace.

You hate the rascists of the 19th century. If anything, hatred is the last feeling you should have, if hatred was what killed so many natives in so many countries.
