I didn't think to ask.

I find you can pitch new-old games to people who like old-old games if you can help them get past the presentation. I certainly do not mind the art style of Etrian Odyssey and I think the characters are very cute, but with that said it is quite the stone throw away from the gritty art of older western RPGs.

I figured a change from the hypnotic would be best, so why not the lovable merchant/Trickster/RNG Goddess?
