I saw half of Negima!?, it was very enjoyable compared to the previous negima anime

also I was just about to check out K-On and Kino's Travels/Journey myself, the former looking very fun and the latter looking very interesting

I am procuring Welcome to the NHK

Five or six episodes into Cowboy Bebop. Some ideas I had for a story are getting shot down, because this show already did it, and did it well <_>

yes I am implying that I have not seen Cowboy Bebop

I saw the first episode of WttNHK. I was shaking my fists and saying YESSSS YESSSS so this anime is doing something right

Finished:
Like The Clouds, Like The Wind - Not from Studio Ghibli, but the staff includes several people who also work(ed) there. The animation/art is pretty good, although of course from 1990. The story I found rather thin though. None of the characters get much development, the bad guys' motivation is, non-existent, and the ending is quite unsatisfying. Overall this anime seems more like exercise for the artists than a great movie.

K-On! - Another awesome anime by KyoAni, makers of Lucky☆Star.
At first I thought that Yui-chan's clumsiness was a little over-the-top, but by ep.2 I got used to it. They're all so cuute ^_^ And the music is pretty good. I think I'll look around for the OST.

Kaubōi Bibappu lol

This one episode unexpectedly made me cry. I was shocked, since the episodes are so self contained, meaning I only had a half-hour of buildup. And what made me cry wasn't what actually happened, but what I thought in my head.

I felt tears in my eyes for the first time in so long. It was so warm, so wonderful...

Umineko Game 3 (up to Episode 17 / Part 6)

...too bad it's an epic swindle to lure Battler into acknowledging her.

I JUST KNOW IT.

Anyway, Eva is pretty much hardcore pointed at as the killer (to follow the "who knows?" from Game 1 to "Someone you know!" from Game 2 to "YUP SOMEONE YOU KNOW THIS ONE BITCH" trend) and she'll probably be the lone survivor of Game 3.

That includes Battler dying.

Also, yay for FINALLY REMEMBERING ANGE.

Anyway, Kyrie backstory finally with Asumu (though, sadly, if not for the "GAVE BIRTH TO BATTLER" line, the name meant nothing) and Battler getting a spine. Also, REAL MEN HAVE PINK BARRIERS.

So, the final mystery to be set up will probably be Jessica being shot by someone else with only Eva and Battler alive yet Eva is with Battler thus giving an impossible murder (further setting up the "A witch had to do it!" if accompanied with some Red Text of EVERYONE ELSE IS DEAD) to make him have to acknowledge her. I hope I'm right as this is awesome.

Though, the Battler x Beato in me is sad if it's true as it's two steps forward and 345210524905 steps back if she fucks him over.[/spoiler]

Ryoko's Case File - Ah, a good old crime-fighting detective story
The mysteries are solved rather easily, but the art is pretty good (and the French fake). From ep.9 onwards the plot is continuous. Although not everything is believable, the action more than makes up for it. Highly recommended to fans of the supernatural and detective/secret agent genres.

Currently watching:
Tokyo Mew Mew - For a magical girl anime the characters get rather sketchy introductions. I hope they get more depth later on or this is going to be a long series.

for whatever reason, I was surprised to see a giant deformed Domo-kun in the second ending song of WttNHK, even though Domo-kun is the actual mascot of NHK

...aaahh, speaking of Domo, he is in the new 7-11 commercials. There might be a Domo-kun slurpee right now.

Watched some of Doki Doki School Hours last night.

When I first started, I wondered why Mio sang the ending song

I was like, "lol, Yui is obviously the main character, why focus on Mio?"

and then I get through episode 6 and holy crap Mio

[spoiler]The fact that this ENTIRE ARC was an epic troll by Beato makes me laugh. A lot.

Also, Ange is a fucking Ninja or something. From the future. And a witch. A Beatrice, at that.

Oh well, I have my theory of how Nanjo died (the big "puzzle" of Game 3) so I'm satisfied with the arc. Plus, Battler having a fucking backbone and being epic and shit during the confrontation with Eva-Beatrice. I'm still pro-Battler x Beato so ... I liked the arc, even with the "ps, me having feelings was I'M TROLLING", especially with Lambdadelta's remark that Beatrice isn't trying to win (more importantly, I suppose, is that Beatrice is only a Witch to serve as her plaything; guess she's an upgraded Miyo).

So ... Ange-Beatrice v Beatrice now? I guess? Should be interesting.

Until Ange gets killed and Battler gets emo.[/spoiler]
