Nah, I like individual episode blogging - I like to see others' point of views and see if there's something another person caught that I missed.

Oh, I remember looking at Random Curiosity once. :\ I hate the webdesign. It's MURDER on my one eye to try to read such tiny text, and the guy needs to learn the value of WHITE SPACE. The layout just screams CLUTTERED. I tried to enjoy it but I gave up on it. There are also WAY too many screens all suddenly slammed right at the top of the page.

Forget it. No thanks.

Huh...never really struck me as cluttered. Probably because my widescreen gives it a stack of whitespace to either side, heh...

Also, in retrospect, I suppose it very much reminds me of some of my own writing pads. I will use every inch of whitespace on a good page; and can manage staggeringly small writing by myself.

Heh...I still have the pad from university where I got my entire first semesters worth of notes on one sixty leaf A4 lined pad. LOL.

But <shrug> oh well... whatever floats your boat.

I also have tiny handwriting. Usually bites me in the ass when I need to write "one page hand-written" and Miss Suzie Big Letters does, like, two paragraphs and I have to write 8 million

Without internet, I have given up hopes of seeing newish anime, but there's a lot on my computer I have not finished.

Moyashimon! I admit I first became interested because of a certain effeminate male character, but I really love the show. Science anime! I know a lot of natural science, but when it gets down to microbe and molecule biology, I'm a noob, so this is an awesome way to learn.

Last Exile! I was watching this with an old friend on Steam, but Steam has been really bad about getting my account back, so now that I don't have internet I've broken down and started watching the last six or so episodes. It's all so beautiful...

Seirei no Moribito! The journeys of Balsa and Chagum continue...Why isn't this anime more famous? It's high production value, with wonderful story and characters...and incredible battles when they do occur.

And episodes 7 and 8 of Kimi ni Todoke. Was watching this with aforementioned friend, so I continued it for aforementioned reason. Though less excitedly now that Maxine totally RUINED IT, GRRR

im actually just finishing up with fate/stay VN then im going to be watching Toradora cause i heard its good.

People are pretty divided about Toradora. I personally loved it.

The anime adaptation [of Toradora] is decent, actually. They rush the end and skip about four light novels to finish and make you go 'lulwut?' but in general its a semi-decent adaptation. The early material, at least, is accurate and excellent.

If I recall, though, they worked with the original author to get an actual ending. Sure, they had to skip a bit and the end seemed kind of "soheyguyzomgwtfishappening" but at least it had a conclusion. Would more episodes have been nice? Possibly ... personally, some of the first half were a bit tiresome to watch so who knows if I'd be up for 10 more episodes of that.

[spoiler]When it starts to pick up steam and cruise towards the finish, though, it's all pretty good there. Notably, everything after the Christmas episode (19) was pretty much awesome, though it picked up around Episode 16 (ironically, I think that's the episode title referencing taking a step forward). I guess the festival two-parter wasn't bad either but it's not really a big step towards the Ryuji x Taiga finish.

That said, I haven't read the Light Novels so I'm not really sure what was skipped over but I'm at least satisfied with the fact that an actual conclusion was reached and not "SO DO YOU THINK IT WORKED OUT FOR THEM?!?!" finish. If the missed content is just spreading out the confessions and character breaking, I'd probably not have minded it--if it was more "look, random day random event small progress but not really" then I'd probabaly not care.[/spoiler]

Ah, no, I'm not saying it was bad. In fact, the very fact that they were brave enough TO do this and skip to the finish was good. It would have been far more rageworthy if they'd have left it on an ambigious element.

They didn't miss anything ~critical~, I guess... It's just jarring if you have read the books; and some of the later ones are actually pretty good. In other words, more and better closure for everyone.

Unlike Tsukaima, which starts amazing and has gradual decline, Toradora usually maintains at least decent quality throughout (though, like anything, has its share of troughs and peaks).
