Yes, that's why I bought it. All Ghibli movies have English subs even in the Japanese edition. I got it about a month before the movie came out in theaters over in NAmerica.

L&O SVU is on Netflix instant...

also dubbed anime makes my skin crawl. I just prefer listening to the nuances of the original Japanese; I know enough of the language to appreciate little things like grammar, accents, dialects, etc.

What? You don't think that I didn't know Billy Crystal was also the voice of Mike Wazowski? I'm usually VERY good with catching familiar voices. Especially after I've watched both DVDs to death.

Speaking of Monsters Inc (granted this is the anime section...) but I heard a rumor there was a MI2 planned? Kinda makes me happy and disappointed all at the same time if this is true. I'm happy to see a return of characters but I seriously DO NOT want Pixar to fall into the death trap of "Uhh.. fuck... we're out of [s]money[/s] ideas.... oh I know LET'S MAKE A SEQUEL! [s]Quick buck[/s] Quick blockbuster."

Hasn't Disney already fucked themselves over like this many times? Mulan 2? Cinderella 2. Peter Pan 2. Lady and Tramp 2.... Oh this list is quite long. We could be here for a while.

But I have faith since I loved all three Toy Stories. But I swear to god... if they make a mini series of one of these shows I'm going to stop being a Pixar fan. It will be an insta-kill.
