I miss Slayers... That and Record of Lodoss was my favorite show. XD
It's very funny to know my English teacher likes it... though, he is 28, so I think he's not much older than some of us here. XD

one of my substitute teachers was this bald guy who carried around a sack of anime DVDs
one time he basically gave the kids tips on growing hydroponic marijuana for a half hour
he wasn't there the next year, hmm
